Universal Entanglement and an Information‐Complete Quantum Theory

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
This Perspective summarize an informationcomplete quantum theory which describes a fully quantum world without any classical systems and concepts. Here spacetime/gravity, having to be a physical quantum system, universally entangles matter (matter fermions and their gauge fields) as an indivisible trinity, and encodes information‐complete physical ...

Proton decay from quark and lepton compositeness

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
Within a chiral SU(15) gauge theory in which the Standard Model fermions are bound states of massless preons, we show that proton-decay operators are likely induced at the compositeness scale, Λpre.

The Virial Expansion of the Hydrogen Equation of State in Comparison to PIMC Simulations: The Quasiparticle Concept, IPD, and Ionization Degree

open access: yesContributions to Plasma Physics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The properties of plasmas in the low‐density limit are described by virial expansions. Analytical expressions are known for the lowest virial coefficients from Green's function approaches. Recently, accurate path‐integral Monte Carlo (PIMC) simulations were performed for the hydrogen plasma at low densities by Filinov and Bonitz (Phys. Rev.

Top-philic scalar Dark Matter with a vector-like fermionic top partner

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2016
We consider a simple extension of the Standard Model with a scalar top-philic Dark Matter (DM) $S$ coupling, apart from the Higgs portal, exclusively to the right-handed top quark $t_R$ and a colored vector-like top partner $T$ with a Yukawa coupling $y_{ST}$ which we call the topVL portal. When the Higgs portal is closed and $y_{ST}$ is perturbative $

$SU(5)\times{U(1)'}$ models with a vector-like fermion family

open access: yes, 2021
Motivated by experimental measurements indicating deviations from the Standard Model predictions we discuss F-theory inspired models, which, in addition to the three chiral generations contain a vector-like complete fermion family. The analysis takes place in the context of $SU(5)\times U(1)'$ GUT embedded in an $E_8$ covering group which is associated

Magnetic moments of leptons, charged lepton flavor violations and dark matter phenomenology of a minimal radiative Dirac neutrino mass model

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
In a simple extension of the standard model (SM), a pair of vector like lepton doublets (L 1 and L 2) and a SU(2) L scalar doublet (η) have been introduced to help in accommodating the discrepancy in determination of the anomalous magnetic moments of the

Topological Photonic Devices and Circuits at Terahertz Frequencies

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
This review examines how 3D topological insulators and emerging topological photonic phases enable robust, low‐loss and defect‐immune terahertz devices. Fundamental properties, device implementations and topological transport mechanisms are surveyed, revealing new opportunities for reconfigurable, high‐performance THz components and scalable ...

Vector-like fermions could enhance the B− mixing

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1989
Abstract The possibility of enhancing the B− b mixing without a large top mass is proposed within the context of theories which enlarge the standard model by new heavy down quarks, isosinglets under SU(2) × U(1). A model which realizes this idea is shown.

Constraining models with vector-like fermions from FCNC in K and B physics [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2001
In this work, we update the constraints on tree level FCNC couplings in the framework of a theory with n isosinglet vector-like down quarks. In this context, we emphasize the sensitivity of the B -> J/psi K_S CP asymmetry to the presence of new vector-like down quarks. This CP asymmetry, together with the rare decays B -> X_{s,d} l bar{l} and K -&
