Probing new physics in the vector-like lepton model by lepton electric dipole moments
We examine the lepton dipole moments in an extension of the Standard Model (SM), which contains vector-like leptons that couple only to the second-generation SM leptons.

Semi-secretly interacting Axion-like particle as an explanation of Fermilab muon g − 2 measurement
The muon anomalous magnetic moment measurement has, for more than a decade, been a long-standing anomaly hinting the physics beyond the Standard Model (BSM). The recently announced results from muon g−2 collaboration, corresponding to 3.3σ deviation from

LHC Signatures of a Vector-like b'
Many beyond the standard model extensions predict the existence of heavy vector-like fermions. We study the LHC signatures of one such heavy vector-like fermion, called b', with electromagnetic charge -1/3 like the SM b-quark, but which could generically

Spectroscopic Signatures of Doping in Thin Films of Semiconducting Single‐Walled Carbon Nanotubes
This review presents an overview of the spectroscopic changes of semiconducting single‐walled carbon nanotubes upon chemical, electrochemical or electrostatic doping. The presence of holes or electrons directly affects visible to far‐infrared absorption, near‐infrared fluorescence and electroluminescence as well as Raman spectra, which enables in‐situ ...

Vector-Like Quarks at the LHC: A unified perspective from ATLAS and CMS exclusion limits
In this work, we present a comprehensive review of the most up-to-date exclusion limits on Vector-Like Quarks (VLQs) derived from ATLAS and CMS data at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC).

Fermions embedded in a scalar-vector kink-like smooth potential
The behaviour of massive fermions is analyzed with scalar and vector potentials. A continuous chiral-conjugation transformation decouples the equation for the upper component of the Dirac spinor provided the vector coupling does not exceed the scalar ...

Asymmetry of the Ferroelectric Phase Transition in BaTiO3
Phase transitions are typically assumed to behave identically in forward and reverse. This work shows that in the ferroelectric material barium titanate this is not true: heating drives an abrupt, first‐order jump, while cooling gives a smooth, continuous change.

An Electroweak-like Theory from Four Fermion Interactions [PDF]
An electroweak-like theory of a broken chiral symmetry that is constructed by the collective modes of fermion pairs from four fermion interactions of one lepton generation is presented.

Testable Flipped SU(5) x U(1)_X Models [PDF]
The little hierarchy between the GUT scale and the string scale may give us some hints that can be tested at the LHC. To achieve string-scale gauge coupling unification, we introduce additional vector-like particles.

Spectrally Tunable 2D Material‐Based Infrared Photodetectors for Intelligent Optoelectronics
Intelligent optoelectronics through spectral engineering of 2D material‐based infrared photodetectors. Abstract The evolution of intelligent optoelectronic systems is driven by artificial intelligence (AI). However, their practical realization hinges on the ability to dynamically capture and process optical signals across a broad infrared (IR) spectrum.
