Direct Photocurrent Detection of Optical Vortex Based on the Orbital Photo Galvanic Effect: Progress, Challenge, and Perspective

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 27, 13 May 2026.
Direct orbital angular momentum (OAM) detection through the orbital photogalvanic effect offers a scalable route for integrated optoelectronics. This perspective evaluates symmetry‐driven material selection and demonstrates how electrode matrices enable the resolution of complex, mixed OAM modes.

Vector-like tops from first generation quarks: the role of width and coupling chiralities in same-charge production at the LHC

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
In this paper, we tension the scope of the q q ¯ $$ q\overline{q} $$ , gg → T T ¯ $$ T\overline{T} $$ production process against that of the same-charge uu → TT one in searching for Vector-Like Quarks (VLQs) with electromagnetic charge +2/3 at the Large ...

Spectroscopic Evidence of Edge‐Localized States in an Antiferromagnet Topological Insulator NdBi

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 30, 28 May 2026.
Using spin‐polarized scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) in conjunction with quasiparticle interference, we successfully identify distinct signatures of the ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic terminations in NdBi, a rare‐earth monopnictide exhibiting non‐trivial topology and magnetism. We demonstrate that step edges on ferromagnetic surfaces host well‐

Dark matter and flavor anomalies in the light of vector-like fermions and scalar leptoquark

open access: yes, 2021
We make a comprehensive study of vector-like fermionic dark matter and flavor anomalies in a simple extension of standard model. The model is added with doublet vector-like fermions of quark and lepton types, and also a $S_1(\bar{\textbf{3}},\textbf{1},1/3)$ scalar leptoquark.

Geometry of Supergravity and the Batalin–Vilkovisky Formulation of the N=1$\mathcal N=1$ Theory in Ten Dimensions

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 74, Issue 5, May 2026.
ABSTRACT We provide full details of a BV formulation of N=1$\mathcal N=1$ supergravity in 10 dimensions, to all orders in fermions, built from the generalised geometry description of the theory. In contrast to standard treatments, we introduce neither the degrees of freedom corresponding to orthonormal frames for the metric nor the local Lorentz ...

Search for vector-like quarks in a fermionic dark matter model with pseudoscalar: A resonance case

open access: yesModern Physics Letters A, 2018
We propose a minimal model of a fermionic dark matter with a pseudoscalar mediator and N generation of vector-like quarks. We calculate the relic density and obtain a new constraint on the generation of the vector-like quarks. From the viewpoint of phenomenology, we probe the proposed model via direct and indirect approaches.

Flavor invariants for the SM with one singlet vector-like quark

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We study the flavor invariants of the SM augmented by one singlet vector-like quark. Aided by the Hilbert series, we construct all the basic invariants with which any flavor invariant can be written as a polynomial.

Revisiting the inert scalar dark matter with vector-like quarks

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
The inert doublet model (IDM), a minimal extension of the Standard Model (SM), provides a scalar dark matter (DM) candidate that belongs to the additional Higgs doublet.
