Vector meson dominance and high-energy behaviour

Il Nuovo Cimento A, 1969
Assuming that four of the six Mandelstam invariants which describe vector meson production are independent of the vector meson mass λ, we show that vector meson dominance must be written in the helicity frame. We point out that this assumption cannot be justified with kinematical arguments only, and show that it is correct at high energy in various ...

The electromagnetic form factors of $\Lambda_c$ hyperon in the vector meson dominance model

, 2021
We apply a modified vector meson dominance (VMD) model to analyze the electromagnetic form factors of the $\Lambda_c$ hyperon in the time-like reaction $e^+e^-\rightarrow \Lambda_c^+ \bar{\Lambda}_c^-$. In the model, we include the contributions from the

Chiral anomalies and vector-meson dominance

Physical Review D, 1987
Amplitudes for eta and eta'..--> pi../sup +/..pi../sup -/..gamma.., K/sub e//sub 4/, ..omega --> pi../sup +/..pi../sup -/..pi../sup 0/, and ..gamma --> pi../sup +/..pi../sup -/..pi../sup 0/ are constructed that respect the low-energy chiral-anomaly theorems but also have realistic vector-meson pole continuations to physical energies, respecting the ...

Nucleon strangeness content through vector meson dominance

The sixth conference on the intersections of particle and nuclear physcis, 1996
It is demonstrated that {ital N}({pi},{ital e}{sup +}{ital e}{sup {minus}}){ital N} measurements will provide new information about the nucleon timelike form factor in the {phi} meson region including the value of the {phi}{ital N} coupling {ital g}{sub {phi}{ital NN}}.

VECTOR MESON DOMINANCE IN THE VECTOR MODEL

Modern Physics Letters A, 1992
We show that Vector Meson Dominance cannot be recovered in the so-called vector model when higher order corrections are included.

Radiative decays of mesons and an extended vector-meson dominance model

Il Nuovo Cimento A, 1973
A model describing the radiative P→γγ, V→Pγ, P→PPγ and the strong V→PPP decays is proposed. The amplitudes for processes with a three-particle final state are approximated by finite dispersion relations and the coupling constants are related by the quark model.

Vector-meson dominance and pion photoproduction

Il Nuovo Cimento A Series 10, 1970
We consider the vector-dominance model applied to single-pion photoproduction. Dispersion relations are written for a set of invariant amplitudes. Particular attention is paid to the problems of gauge invariance and kinematic singularities. At high energies our results coincide, to leading order only, with the use ofs-channel helicity amplitudes.

Establishing the vector-meson-exchange dominance for the short range interactions of light quarks

Science China Physics Mechanics and Astronomy
I give a brief comment on a recent study revealing the vector meson exchange (VME) dominant for the short range interactions between u/d quarks in the $NN$, $D_{03}$, and $D_{30}$ systems.

Vector meson dominance and photoproduction

Zeitschrift für Physik A Hadrons and nuclei, 1969
A brief review of the basic principles of the vector meson dominance model is given. The model is then compared with most recently obtained experimental results. It is stressed that it provides a simple and unified interpretation of photoproduction of hadrons at high energies.
