Vector-meson dominance and diffractive electroproduction of vector mesons
Abstract A vector-meson dominance model of diffractive electroproduction of vector mesons at high energies is presented. The assumption that the invariant amplitudes are slowly varying as a function of the vector-meson mass, when extrapolating to the spacelike region, is shown to lead to serious difficulties when combined with helicity independence ...

A vector meson dominance approach to scale invariance
Abstract A model of scale invariance for both deep inelastic scattering and e + e − annihilation incorporating an infinite number of vector mesons is proposed. Structure functions are calculated explicitly in good agreement with experiments. Precocious scaling arises naturally in the model.

From Vector Meson Dominance to Quark-Hadron Duality [PDF]
A short review of the many contributions to hadron physics made by Mario Greco is presented. The review roughly covers his production between 1971 and 1974, just before the advent of QCD, when quark-model ideas, duality principles and vector meson ...

Understanding oscillating features of the timelike nucleon electromagnetic form factors within the extending vector meson dominance model [PDF]
We investigate the nonmonotonic behavior observed in the time-like nucleon electromagnetic form factors. Using a phenomenological extending vector meson dominance model, where the ground states $\rho$ and $\omega$ and their excited states $\rho(2D ...

Vector meson dominance in $η'\rightarrowπ^0γγ$ decay
The decay $ '\rightarrow ^0 $ is studied theoretically in the framework of the Vector Meson Dominance model (VMD). We find theoretically a significant contribution of the interference of $ - $ and provide theoretical Dalitz-plots. Comparison with the experimental results of BES-III \cite{BES-III} is done.

The $\Sigma$ and $\Xi$ electromagnetic form factors in the extended vector meson dominance model [PDF]
We propose a phenomenological extended vector meson dominance model for the baryon electromagnetic structure, and it is found that the current experimental data on the $\Sigma$ and $\Xi$ electromagnetic form factors in the time-like region can be well ...

Electromagnetic form factors of Σ+ and Σ− in the vector-meson dominance model [PDF]
Based on the recent measurements of the e+e−→Σ+Σ¯− and e+e−→Σ−Σ¯+ processes by the Beijing Spectrometer III (BESIII) collaboration, the electromagnetic form factors of the hyperon Σ+ and Σ− in the timelike region are investigated using the vector-meson ...

Vector meson dominance and the ρ meson [PDF]
We discuss the properties of vector mesons, in particular the rho^0, in the context of the Hidden Local Symmetry (HLS) model. This provides a unified framework to study several aspects of the low energy QCD sector. Firstly, we show that in the HLS model the physical photon is massless, without requiring off field diagonalization.

Photon Shadowing in Nuclei [PDF]
Photonuclear Shadowing is studied using the Glauber - generalized vector meson dominance approach. The calculation is performed using both diagonal and off - diagonal generalized vector dominance (GVMD) models. The results are compatible with experiments
