Identifying transcription factors controlling the basal expression of human MRP4 highlights a substantial role for Sp1

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The MRP4 transporter exports several drugs and signaling molecules. Here, we identified key promoter elements regulating basal MRP4 expression. Using reporter assays, we defined a conserved region with essential Sp1 and contributory Ets sites, which controlled basal MRP4 expression.

Molecular dynamics simulations of positively selected codons in FcγRI reveal novel biochemical binding properties

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

Cutaneous Melanoma Drives Metabolic Changes in the Aged Bone Marrow Immune Microenvironment

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, increasingly affects older adults. Our study reveals that melanoma induces changes in iron and lipid levels in the bone marrow, impacting immune cell populations and increasing susceptibility to ferroptosis.

Space Vector Design Assisted Channel Modulation

open access: yesIEEE Access
With the design idea of the index modulation (IM), media-based modulation (MBM) has been attracted a lot of attention due to that it not only offers optional transmission channels for physical security but also transmits additional channel index (CI ...

Development of a Prediction Model for Progression Risk in High‐Grade Gliomas Based on Habitat Radiomics and Pathomics

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To investigate the value of constructing models based on habitat radiomics and pathomics for predicting the risk of progression in high‐grade gliomas. Methods This study conducted a retrospective analysis of preoperative magnetic resonance (MR) images and pathological sections from 72 patients diagnosed with high‐grade gliomas (52 ...

Identifying Persian Words’ Senses Automatically by Utilizing the Word Embedding Method

open access: yesIranian Journal of Information Processing & Management, 2019
A word is the smallest unit in the language that has 'form' and 'meaning'. The word might have more than one meaning in which its exact meaning is determined according to the context it is appeared.

Vector bundles over three-dimensional spherical space forms

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2006
We consider the problem of enumerating the G-bundles over low-dimensional manifolds (dimension ≤3) and in particular vector bundles over the three-dimensional spherical space forms.
