Solution‐Processed Thin‐Film Transistors With Tunable Temporal Dynamics for Neuromorphic Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Solution‐processed CNT and CNT/P3HT ion‐gated transistors exhibit materials‐defined synaptic timescales: fast CNT devices for high‐frequency spiking and slow hybrid devices for temporal integration. Embedding these dynamics into coupled reservoir‐computing and spiking neural network simulations reveals that a Hybrid‐Reservoir / CNT‐SNN architecture ...

Development of a Three‐Axis Planar Hall Magnetoresistance Sensor Using a Superparamagnetic Nanoparticle‐Based Flux Guide

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A printed superparamagnetic nanoparticle‐based flux guide enables the realization of a hysteresis‐free three‐axis magnetic sensor. This innovative architecture efficiently redirects out‐of‐plane fields to planar sensing elements, facilitating simultaneous vector detection without complex reset protocols.

The photon vortex beam in rotating medium

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2020
In this paper, we demonstrate that there are vortex beam solutions for the photon in the rotating medium. By constructing the photon wave function with Riemann–Silberstein vector, we derive the dynamic equation of the photon in moving medium from the ...

Efficient generation and amplification of intense vortex and vector laser pulses via strongly-coupled stimulated Brillouin scattering in plasmas

open access: yesCommunications Physics
The past decade has seen tremendous progress in the production and utilization of vortex and vector laser pulses. Although both are considered as structured light beams, the vortex lasers have helical phase fronts and phase singularities, while the ...

Ultrashort vortex from a Gaussian pulse – An achromatic-interferometric approach

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2017
The more than a century old Sagnac interferometer is put to first of its kind use to generate an achromatic single-charge vortex equivalent to a Laguerre-Gaussian beam possessing orbital angular momentum (OAM).

Polarization Evolution of a Vector Vortex Optical Field in a Strongly Nonlocal Nonlinear Medium

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2019
The evolution of a vector vortex optical field (VVOF) with a spiral phase and azimuthally-variant polarization distributions in the field cross-section in a strongly nonlocal nonlinear (SNN) medium is demonstrated.

Particle Scattering Induced Orbital Angular Momentum Spectrum Change of Vector Bessel–Gaussian Vortex Beam

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2022
In this paper, we obtain the intensity and phase distributions of the scattering and external fields of a vector Bessel–Gaussian vortex beam in the far-field region after being scattered by a particle.
