MOF‐Derived Cu‐TiO2/Alginate Micromotors for Buoyancy‐Regulated 3D Motion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this work, cyanobacteria‐inspired sodium alginate (SA)/Cu‐TiO2/Fe3O4 hydrogel micromotors generate and encapsulate O2 microvesicles upon light irradiation, enabling buoyancy‐mediated Z‐axis upward migration and surface enrichment at the light‐exposed water‐air surface.

Oral Nanomicelle‐Mediated Sequential Butyrate Production in the Intestine for Ulcerative Colitis and Immunosuppression Treatment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
After oral administration, inodorous GLU‐BA self‐assembles into nanomicelles in aqueous environments to resist premature gastric adsorption. Upon reaching the intestine, endogenous esterases rapidly cleave the built‐in ester bonds in these nanomicelles to release BA and GLU, with GLU further metabolized by gut microbiota to gradually generate BA ...

The Impact of Litter from Different Belowground Organs of Phragmites australis on Microbial-Mediated Soil Organic Carbon Accumulation in a Lacustrine Wetland

open access: yesMicroorganisms
Although belowground litter decomposition critically influences lacustrine wetland soil carbon dynamics, the organ-specific microbial mechanisms driving soil organic carbon (SOC) accumulation remain unclear. Existing research has predominantly focused on

Vegetative propagation of native species potentially useful in the restoration of Mexico City’s vegetation

open access: yesRevista Mexicana de Biodiversidad, 2012
Hardwood and softwood cuttings of Buddleia cordata HBK, Dodonaea viscosa Jacq and Senecio praecox D.C. were tested for their ability to form adventitious roots. Cuttings were prepared in two different seasons (wet and dry) and treated with different concentrations of auxins (IBA and NAA) and different microclimatic conditions.

Contrasting plant–microbe interrelations on soil Di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate and pyrene degradation by three dicotyledonous plant species

open access: yesActa Agriculturae Scandinavica. Section B, Soil and Plant Science, 2017
Plants and associated microbial communities can actively participate in the biodegradation of organic pollution. Potexperiments were conducted to explore the plant–microbe interrelations on Di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and pyrene degradation in a ...
