Micropropagation of Some Plant Species under in Vitro Conditions

open access: yesJournal of Agriculture and Plant Sciences, 2013
At the beginning of the XXI century, the perspectives of the plant biochemistry and physiology are focused on examining the capability of plant cells and tissue culture for vegetative propagation.

Dry‐Season Water Deficits in the Southwestern Amazon Under High Emissions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Climatology, EarlyView.
Projected climatic water deficit in the study region indicates a longer and more intense dry season, with delays in the onset of the wet season under higher emission scenarios. These changes, particularly, pronounced under SSP5‐8.5, suggest increased ecological vulnerability and greater seasonal water stress.

PLANT MORPHOLOGICAL PARAMETERS AND YIELD OF WINTER SAVORY DEPENDING ON THE METHOD OF PLANTATION ESTABLISHMENT

open access: yesActa Scientiarum Polonorum: Hortorum Cultus, 2017
Winter savory (Satureja montana L.) is an aromatic subshrub of significant medicinal and seasoning qualities. Winter savory herb yield and quality depend on various factors, including environmental and agronomic ones. The aim of the present study was to

Advances in mass clonal propagation of Eucalyptus urophylla x E. grandis in Congo [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008

Three Generations of NARCliM: Evaluation of Precipitation, Temperature and Their Extremes Over the CORDEX Australasia Domain

open access: yesInternational Journal of Climatology, EarlyView.
The NSW and Australian Regional Climate Modelling Version 2.0 (NARCliM2.0) builds on NARCliM1.0 and 1.5 to deliver improved regional climate simulations. This study provides the first comprehensive evaluation of NARCliM2.0 against its predecessors, assessing individual model skill in reproducing mean and extreme climate.

The influence of growth stage and application site on movement and effect of glyphosate in Cirsium arvense (L.) Scop. : a thesis presented in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Agricultural Science in Plant Science at Massey University [PDF]

open access: yes, 1983
Glyphosate was applied at different rates to the upper parts of Cirsium arvense plants at various growth stages in a glasshouse experiment. Measurements and observations were made of the plants over a period of several months following treatment.

How Well Do CMIP6 Models Simulate the Influence of the West African Westerly Jet on Sahel Precipitation?

open access: yesInternational Journal of Climatology, EarlyView.
Climate models generally reproduce the WAWJ and August peak but simulate its onset prematurely and too strongly relative to ERA5. CMIP6 simulations struggle to reproduce the jet–precipitation relationship in the Sahel and underrepresent associated moisture transports.
