A Group Vehicular Mobility Model for Routing Protocol Analysis in Mobile Ad Hoc Network [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Computing, Volume 2, Issue 3, March 2010, https://sites.google.com/site/journalofcomputing/, 2010
Performance of routing protocols in mobile ad-hoc networks is greatly affected by the dynamic nature of nodes, route failures, wireless channels with variable bandwidth and scalability issues. A mobility model imitates the real world movement of mobile nodes and is central component to simulation based studies.

An Agrin–YAP/TAZ Rigidity Sensing Module Drives EGFR‐Addicted Lung Tumorigenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The study identifies agrin‐EGFR mechanotransduction as a critical driver of lung adenocarcinoma which enhances EGFR signaling through an integrin‐FAK‐actomyosin dependent positive feedback on YAP/TAZ ‐TEAD in response to matrix stiffness. Targeting this oncogenic loop through combinatorial treatments inhibits lung cancer due to agrin impairment.

Efficient Packet Forwarding Approach in Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks Using EBGR Algorithm [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computer Science Issues, IJCSI, Vol. 7, Issue 1, No. 3, January 2010, http://ijcsi.org/articles/Efficient-Packet-Forwarding-Approach-in-Vehicular-Ad-Hoc-Networks-Using-EBGR-Algorithm.php, 2010
VANETs (Vehicular Ad hoc Networks) are highly mobile wireless ad hoc networks and will play an important role in public safety communications and commercial applications. Routing of data in VANETs is a challenging task due to rapidly changing topology and high speed mobility of vehicles. Conventional routing protocols in MANETs (Mobile Ad hoc Networks)

A New Classification of Clustering-based for Different Problems in Different Wireless Ad-hoc Networks [PDF]

open access: yesComputer Science & Information Technology (CS & IT), 2024
Ad-hoc networks are specifically designed to facilitate communication in environments where establishing a dedicated network infrastructure is exceedingly complex or impractical. The integration of clustering concepts into various ad-hoc network scenarios, including Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANET), Vehicular Ad-hoc ...

Authentication and consensus overhead in vehicular ad hoc networks [PDF]

open access: yesTelecommunication Systems, 2011
Vehicular ad hoc networks aim at increasing passenger safety by exchanging warning messages between vehicles wirelessly. A main challenge is to resist to various malicious abuses and security attacks. However, any security mechanism comes with overhead.

CXCL13 Damages Blood Spinal Cord Barrier by Promoting RNF6/Sqstm1‐Ubiquitination Induced Autophagy in Experimental Allergic Encephalomyelitis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In multiple sclerosis, the disruption of the blood‐spinal cord barrier (BSCB) induced by CXCL13 facilitates the infiltration of inflammatory cells into the central nervous system, resulting in demyelination and neuronal injury. Mechanistically, the deleterious impact of CXCL13 on the BSCB is associated with a reduction in tight junction protein ...

Security-aware dual-hop communication for amplify-and-forward relay networks

open access: yesInternational Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks, 2019
The authentication scheme for vehicular ad hoc networks aims to improve the security and integrity of message delivery. The base station manages a large number of vehicular nodes, so the security communications are non-trivial.

Vehicular Ad Hoc and Sensor Networks; Principles and Challenges [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2011
The rapid increase of vehicular traffic and congestion on the highways began hampering the safe and efficient movement of traffic. Consequently, year by year, we see the ascending rate of car accidents and casualties in most of the countries. Therefore, exploiting the new technologies, e.g.

Diallyl Trisulfide From Garlic Regulates RAB18 Phase Separation to Inhibit Lipophagy and Induce Cuproptosis in Hepatic Stellate Cells for Antifibrotic Effects

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Diallyl trisulfides (DATs) selectively induce cuproptosis in hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) by targeting Ras‐related protein Rab‐18 (RAB18) and regulating lipophagy. DATs promote RAB18 phase separation, enhance mitochondrial‐associated membrane structures (MAMs) formation, and increase succinylation of dihydrolipoamide dehydrogenase (DLD) at K320.
