The Design of Vehicular Voice Cloud Protocol
2019 IEEE International Conference on Industrial Internet (ICII), 2019This paper proposes UDP-based reliable application protocol vehicular voice cloud service. Instead of ACK message, the receiver asks for a retransmission via delivering NACK message to sender. This design is able to reduce the latency of voice-recognition-based services in vehicular environment.

Content Delivery Based on Vehicular Cloud
IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, 2020Nowadays, Vehicular Ad Hoc NETworks (VANETs) become actually the main force to disseminate and deliver position-related contents such as road-safety information, so it is significant to improve content delivery efficiency. Usually, users employ the address-centric mechanism to upload/download contents to/from servers located in backbone networks, which

Proceedings of the 12th ACM Symposium on Performance Evaluation of Wireless Ad Hoc, Sensor, & Ubiquitous Networks, 2015
Considerable attention has been assigned to Vehicular Cloud towards identifying methods to utilize under-used, available computing and physical resources of vehicles effectively. Most work on vehicular cloud is so far on the taxonomy definition level, and the dynamically changing amount of available resources characterizes vehicular cloud as more ...

On security in Software-defined vehicular cloud
2016 International Conference on Information and Communication Technology Convergence (ICTC), 2016Software-defined vehicular cloud (SDVC) is a novel proposal to form a cloud consisting of vehicles and to share their underutilized resource and carry out collaborative jobs. Since the research on SDVC is in its initial stage, security and privacy issues are still challenging.

A Secure and Distributed Architecture for Vehicular Cloud
2019Given the enormous interest in self-driving cars, Vehicular Ad hoc NETworks (VANETs) are likely to be widely deployed in the near future. Cloud computing is also gaining widespread deployment. Marriage between cloud computing and VANETs, would help solve many of the needs of the drivers, law-enforcement agencies, traffic management, etc. In this paper,

Security challenges in vehicular cloud computing
IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, 2013In a series of recent papers, Prof. Olariu and his co-workers have promoted the vision of vehicular clouds (VCs), a nontrivial extension, along several dimensions, of conventional cloud computing. In a VC, underutilized vehicular resources including computing power, storage, and Internet connectivity can be shared between drivers or rented out over the
