Distributed clustering in vehicular networks
2012 IEEE 8th International Conference on Wireless and Mobile Computing, Networking and Communications (WiMob), 2012Clustering in vanets is of crucial importance in order to cope with the dynamic features of the vehicular topologies. Algorithms that give good results in Manets fail to create stable clusters since vehicular nodes are characterized by their high mobility and the different mobility patterns that even nodes in proximity may follow.

Vehicular Social Networks: A survey
Pervasive and Mobile Computing, 2018Abstract A Vehicular Social Network (VSN) is an emerging field of communication where relevant concepts are being borrowed from two different disciplines, i.e., vehicular ad-hoc networks (VANETs) and mobile social networks (MSNs). This emerging paradigm presents new research fields for content sharing, data dissemination, and delivery services. Based

Distributed Simulation of Vehicular Networks
Ninth IEEE International Symposium on Distributed Simulation and Real-Time Applications, 2005Surface transportation systems continue to be plagued by concerns regarding safety, excessive delays, and pollution. These problems will only become progressively worse in the future, particularly in developing nations as they modernize and become more mobile.

Location privacy in vehicular networks
2013 IEEE 14th International Symposium on "A World of Wireless, Mobile and Multimedia Networks" (WoWMoM), 2013Location privacy is one of the main challenges in vehicular ad hoc networks (VANET), which aim to protect vehicles from being tracked. Most of research work concern changing pseudonyms effectively to avoid linking messages through them. However, the sensitive information the vehicles send periodically in beacon messages make them vulnerable to tracking
