Engineered extracellular vesicles enriched with the miR‐214/199a cluster enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy in ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Resilient in-network aggregation for vehicular networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Applications for vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) are an active field of re- search with the potential to significantly contribute to driver safety, traffic efficiency, and comfort. Messages are typically exchanged and forwarded between vehicles using wireless communication, thereby creating a wireless ad hoc network.

Prioritized gossip in vehicular networks [PDF]

open access: yesAd Hoc Networks, 2013
We propose using real world mobility traces to identify tractable theoretical models for the study of distributed algorithms in mobile networks. Specifically, we derive a vehicular ad hoc network model from a large corpus of position data generated by San Francisco-area taxicabs.

Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Instantly decodable network coding–assisted data dissemination for prioritized services in vehicular ad hoc networks

open access: yesInternational Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks, 2019
Safety-related and user-related applications are two main kinds of services provided in vehicular ad hoc networks. Safety-related applications have great impact on vehicles and people who participate in the transportation.

Danger Aware Vehicular Networking

open access: yesCoRR, 2020
IEEE 802.11p is one of the key technologies that enable Dedicated Short-Range Communications (DSRC) in intelligent transportation system (ITS) for safety on the road. The main challenge in vehicular communication is the large amount of data to be processed. As vehicle density and velocity increases, the data to be transmitted also increases.

A Distributed Cooperative Localization Strategy in Vehicular-to-Vehicular Networks [PDF]

open access: yesSensors, 2020
This work develops a distributed message-passing approach to cooperative localization for autonomous mobile vehicles that communicate via mm-wave wireless connection in vehicle-to-vehicle networks. Vehicles in the network obtain the measurement information about the relative distance and the angle of arrival from the mm-wave connections made with each ...

Study on QoS support in 802.11e-based multi-hop vehicular wireless ad hoc networks

open access: yes, 2007
Multimedia communications over vehicular ad hoc networks (VANET) will play an important role in the future intelligent transport system (ITS). QoS support for VANET therefore becomes an essential problem. In this paper, we first study the QoS performance
