Modelling stem cell differentiation related processes—A practical overview for biologists
Stem cell differentiation is complex and difficult to control experimentally. This review introduces suitable computational modelling approaches that can support stem cell research, from mechanistic ODE and abstract models to multiscale and deep learning methods.

Topo-Iberia project: CGPS crustal velocity field in the Iberian Peninsula and Morocco
A new continuous GPS network was installed under the umbrella of a research project called “Geociencias en Iberia: Estudios integrados de topografía y evolución 4D (Topo-Iberia)”, to improve understanding of kinematic behavior of the Iberian Peninsula ...

Obesity raises blood levels of PAI‐1, a protein linked to metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease in people with obesity. In female mice fed a high‐fat diet, partially lowering PAI‐1 led to smaller subcutaneous fat cells and lower liver cholesterol, without changing body weight or insulin sensitivity.

Deep Minimum and a Vortex for Positronium Formation in Low-Energy Positron-Helium Collisions
We find a zero in the positronium formation scattering amplitude and a deep minimum in the logarithm of the corresponding differential cross section for positron–helium collisions for an energy just above the positronium formation threshold ...

Synergistic perspectives—How single‐molecule biophysics complement biochemical understanding
In this review, we discuss how ensemble biochemistry and single‐molecule approaches are complementary, outline commonly used single‐molecule techniques, and illustrate their relevance through two representative case studies: chromatin organization by SMC complexes and pathway choice during DNA double‐strand break repair.

Taylor–Couette flow of a fractional second grade fluid in an annulus due to a time-dependent couple
Exact solutions for the velocity field and the associated shear stress, corresponding to the flow of a fractional second grade fluid between two infinite coaxial cylinders, are determined by means of Laplace and finite Hankel transforms.
