Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Study of the Discharge Stream from a Standard Rushton turbine impeller

open access: yesActa Polytechnica, 2004
The discharge stream from a standard Rushton turbine impeller exhibits special flow properties different from the characteristics of the velocity field in other parts of the volume of an agitated liquid in a cylindrical baffled vessel, e.g.

Structure Design and Flow Field Analysis of Plugging and Diversion Robot in Pipeline

open access: yesShiyou jixie, 2021
In order to quickly solve the problem of pipeline leakage and plug the pipeline without stopping pipeline transportation, a design of a wheeled robot that can quickly plug and divert was proposed, and the flow field of the fluid domain in the robot's ...

On Some Problems of Trajectory Beam Program Control. Part I

open access: yesИзвестия Иркутского государственного университета: Серия "Математика", 2023
This paper deals with problems of program control of a trajectory beam. We investigate formulations that arise when considering problems of charged particle beams control, as well as, for example, in image processing.

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Semi Analytical Solutions for Fractional Oldroyd-B Fluid Through Rotating Annulus

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In this paper, semi analytical solutions for velocity field and tangential stress correspond to fractional Oldroyd-B fluid, in an annulus, are acquired by Laplace transforms and modified Bessel equation. In the beginning, cylinders are stationary, motion

Dissipation of stop-and-go waves via control of autonomous vehicles: Field experiments [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv.org, 2017
Traffic waves are phenomena that emerge when the vehicular density exceeds a critical threshold. Considering the presence of increasingly automated vehicles in the traffic stream, a number of research activities have focused on the influence of automated

Flow Enabled Target Capture Halbach‐based magnetic enrichment increases circulating tumor cell capture from blood in metastatic cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pair‐wise comparison of the CellSearch and FETCH enrichment technologies for circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from metastatic breast, prostate, and small cell lung cancer patients shows an increased capture of CTCs using FETCH enrichment. The clinical implementation of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) as a predictive tool for therapy efficacy in the ...

ADP‐ribosylation: An emerging regulator of the epigenome

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
ADP‐ribosylation has emerged as a dynamic epigenetic signaling mechanism that modifies histones and chromatin‐associated proteins. Through coordinated PARylation and MARylation, it integrates with other histone modifications to regulate chromatin structure, transcription factor activity, and gene expression, influencing genome function and disease ...
