The biocompatibility of alginate dialdehyde (ADA) and gelatin (GEL) hydrogels cross‐linked with human transglutaminase (hTG) is demonstrated in vivo with a high degree of stability and angiogenic potential. The additional enzymatic cross‐linker hTG and the increased concentration improve stability and angiogenic potential. The X‐ray microscopy (XRM) is

All patients operated for oesophageal cancer in Sweden from 2013 to April 2018 were identified, and 246 patients were recruited to this population‐based nationwide Swedish study. The results show that longitudinal health‐related quality of life after minimally invasive oesophagectomy was similar to that of the open surgical approach.

Anticoagulant properties are critical for blood‐compatible materials, and anticoagulant coatings are a common key issue for blood‐contacting medical devices. In this study, a block copolymer poly(2‐methacrylenoxyethyl phosphocholine‐b‐glycidyl) (PMPC‐b‐GMA) is synthesized, using reversible addition‐fragmentation chain transfer polymerization (RAFT) and

This study investigates the impact of nanostructured surface modification on corrosion resistance, HUVEC functions, and platelet interactions of 316L SS for cardiovascular stents. Nanostructured surfaces enhanced HUVEC proliferation, migration, and angiogenesis‐related gene expression while reducing platelet adhesion and hemolysis.

Abstract Background The definitive treatment for chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) is pulmonary endarterectomy (PEA), which has good long‐term outcomes. However, after surgery, a quarter of the patients still have residual pulmonary hypertension (RPH). In pulmonary hemodynamics, there are no unified criteria for RPH, even though the
