A heart‐on‐a‐chip model of dilated cardiomyopathy is developed from patient‐derived induced pluripotent stem cells. The model recapitulates key disease phenotypes and enables functional assessment through integrated bead‐based tracking and pillar deflection measurements.

The Clinical Evaluation of the Late Potentials in Patients with Ventricular Arrhythmias
We investigated the recognition of late potentials in patients with and without organic heart diseases and spontaneous ventricular arrhythmias. None of the normal subjects had late potentials and patients with ventricular arrhythmias but no organic heart diseases, also had no late potentials as well as patients with idiopathic ventricular tachycardias.

Under NIR irradiation, PTCPP generates ROS to eliminate MRSA biofilms and promote M1 macrophage polarization for phagocytosis. After bacterial clearance, the material is phagocytosed by macrophages, shifting their polarization to M2 phenotype via metabolic reprogramming, which synergistically enhances anti‐infection therapy and wound healing.

Additively manufactured triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) membranes offer an architecture‐driven alternative to hollow fiber bundles in artificial lungs. Multiphysics simulations and endothelialized prototypes show that the 3D‐printable membrane architecture improves gas exchange, blood flow distribution, and hemocompatibility, enabling ...

From Rigid to Soft Robotic Approaches for Neuroendoscopy
Robotic assistance has had minimal impact on deep intraventricular surgeries, where small‐scale, precision, and reduced invasiveness can contribute to improved patient outcomes. Emerging technologies in rigid, soft, and hybrid robotics are reviewed to identify the most promising mechanisms for deep brain navigation in addition to an attempt to identify

Intelligent Micro/Nanorobots for Targeted Interventional Therapy: From Bench to Clinic
Zirui Zhang et al. reviewed the application and challenges of mobile nanomachines in interventional therapy. By converting exogenous energy, including chemical, magnetic, optical, and ultrasonic sources, into mechanical forces, micro/nanorobots (MNRs) enable precise actuation at unprecedented scales. Evolving far beyond traditional drug delivery, these

Phase relationship between alternans of early and late phases of ventricular action potentials.
Background: Alternans of early phase and of duration of action potential (AP) critically affect dispersion of refractoriness through their influence on conduction and repolarization.
