Microenvironment‐Responsive Nanomedicine Enables Vertical Modulation of Mitochondrial Pathological Networks in Myocardial Ischemia–Reperfusion Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A mitochondria‐targeted, microenvironment‐responsive nanoplatform enables pH/ROS‐triggered co‐delivery of berberine and isoliensinine to orchestrate ROS scavenging, inflammation suppression, and apoptosis inhibition. This vertical modulation of mitochondrial pathological networks preserves mitochondrial function and effectively mitigates myocardial ...

PEAR1 Promotes Glucose Metabolism Reprogramming in Sepsis‐Associated Acute Lung Injury via AARS1‐Mediated HIF‐1α Lactylation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study revealed that a PEAR1/HIF‐1α/ glycolysis/lactate/H3K18la positive feedback loop in PMVECs that drives the development of S‐ALI. Mechanistically, PEAR1 mediates the binding of HIF‐1α to AARS1, leading to the lactylation of HIF‐1α, the primary lactylation site of which is K172.

Prediction of ventricular tachycardia in acute myocardial infarction by ventricular late potentials.

open access: yesJournal of Nippon Medical School, 1991
To know the relationship between positive ventricular late potentials (LP) and occurrence of ventricular tachycardia (VT), signal-averaged electrocardiogram (SAECG) was recorded in 214 patients with myocardial infarction (MI). According to the time course of SAECG recording after the onset of MI, the subjects were divided into three groups; acute MI ...

DDSurfer: A Weakly‐Supervised Dual‐Stream Deep Learning Framework for Cortical Surface Reconstruction From Diffusion MRI

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
DDSurfer reconstructs cortical surfaces directly from diffusion MRI without requiring T1‐weighted scans. By fusing complementary microstructural features and learning diffeomorphic deformations, it efficiently generates accurate white matter and pial surfaces, improving geometric fidelity and morphometric reliability across datasets for robust surface ...

Structural Polymorphism of polyG Inclusions Revealed by In Situ Cryo‐Electron Tomography

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Correlative cryo‐electron tomography in primary cortical neurons and NIID mouse brain tissue reveals that polyG inclusions are interconnected ribbon‐like assemblies rather than canonical amyloid fibrils. Multiple compartment‐specific ribbon states show distinct 26S proteasome accessibility, while cytoplasmic ribbons contact and deform ER‐like ...

Neuropeptide Y—Graphene Oxide Complexes Inhibit Amygdala NPY‐Receptor Expressing Glutamatergic Pathways and Selectively Remove Aversive Memory In Vivo

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A graphene oxide nanocarrier presents neuropeptide Y specifically to NPY receptor‐expressing pathways in the amygdala, whose activation selectively suppresses aversive memory formation, without modulating anxiety responses. This circuit‐restricted drug release strategy may impact future design of neuropsychiatric therapies with limited off‐target ...

The clinical and functional evaluation of cardiac electrical instability in patients with silent myocardial ischemia

open access: yesТерапевтический архив, 2010
Aim. To study markers of myocardial electrical instability in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) during silent myocardial ischemic episodes. Subjects and methods. Eighty-two patients with stable CHD (mean age 62.6 ± 5.4 years) were examined.

A Dual‐Modal Wearable PPG Smartwatch with AI‐Enhanced Correction for High‐Accuracy and Continuous AF Burden Assessment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Atrial fibrillation (AF) increases the risk of stroke and heart failure, yet accurate quantification of AF burden in daily life remains difficult. Although smartwatch photoplethysmography (PPG) supports continuous monitoring, complex rhythms and signal noise can impair burden estimation.
