Pulmonary atresia with intact ventricular septum
Neonates with pulmonary atresia with intact ventricular septum are ductus dependent from birth. The initial approach in these patients is to ensure continued adequate pulmonary blood flow in anticipation of imminent spontaneous closure of the ductus.

ABSTRACT Human atrial chambers derive from distinct embryonic anlagens, the original embryonic atria gradually transforming into the so‐called auricles, or atrial appendages. This study quantifies macroscopic variations in pectinate muscle architecture in human atrial appendages and evaluates their visualization using clinical imaging modalities.

54. Radiofrequency perforation of pulmonary valve and PDA stenting in a preterm neonate
Transcatheter radiofrequency perforation of the pulmonary valve and PDA stenting is considered as a modality for pulmonary atresia and intact ventricular septum with mildly hypoplastic tripartate right ventricle.

Aims: To describe children born with pulmonary atresia with intact ventricular septum (PA-IVS) in Sweden between 1980 and 1999, the incidence and outcome of PA-IVS, to examine cardio-pulmonary outcomes in survivors and to evaluate their quality of life.

A Case of Venous Tissue Dissection During Transcatheter MitraClip Surgery
ABSTRACT The MitraClip system has been widely used to treat mitral regurgitation. The complications associated with MitraClip surgery typically include clip detachment and mitral valve injury. However, cases of venous tissue dissection during surgery are relatively rare.

Objectives Objectives of this study are (1) to describe how to obtain the in-plane view of the inter-ventricular septum, (2) to assess its feasibility in a population of fetuses referred for fetal echocardiography, (3) to demonstrate its effectiveness in

ABSTRACT Sinus venosus defect (SVD) is a rare congenital heart anomaly characterised by an abnormal communication between the atria, often associated with partial anomalous pulmonary venous connection (PAPVC). Traditional surgical repair carries significant risks, prompting exploration into less invasive transcatheter approaches.

Introduction: Three-dimensional (3D) maps are useful for premature ventricular contraction (PVC) ablation. However, positional information changes compared with sinus rhythm when PVCs appear, rendering ablation difficult.
