Defect‐Driven Charge Separation in Ba‐Doped SrTiO3: Correlating Photoelectrochemical Performance With Dye‐Selective Photocatalysis

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Ba‐doped SrTiO3 perovskites establish a direct correlation between photoelectrochemical activity and photocatalytic performance. Optimized Ba0.5Sr0.5TiO3 exhibits enhanced charge separation, photocurrent generation, and visible‐light‐driven dye degradation through defect‐induced oxygen vacancies and lattice distortion.

Eutectic Gallium‐Indium as a Potential Non‐Toxic Replacement in Mercury Intrusion Porosimetry

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A practical alternative to mercury intrusion porosimetry is presented using non‐oxidized eutectic gallium‐indium. An eGaIn Filling Station enables oxygen‐free preparation of standard penetrometers, and the resulting measurements faithfully reproduce pore‐size distributions and intrusion volumes measured with mercury across several standard reference ...

VChain: Establishing Trust Based on Verifiable Credential Chains

open access: yes2025 28th Conference on Innovation in Clouds, Internet and Networks (ICIN)
Verifiable credentials (VCs) appear as a promising solution for holders to prove to verifiers the possession of certain desirable qualities or characteristics in a trustworthy and privacy-aware manner. Currently, a VC is linked to very specific properties for which it is issued and its trustworthiness is associated to its root of trust.

Turning Light Into Matter: Programmable Microstructures Via Dose Control in Two‐Photon Polymerization

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
This work augments two‐photon polymerization with point‐wise dose control, enabling structures with heterogeneous material properties such as refractive index. An open source toolbox and superior calibration methodology for the refractive index pave the way for bio‐mimicking or numerically optimized structure designs, and enhance the synergy between 3D
