Auto‐Downregulation of the Florigen FT Production Prevents Precocious Flowering in Plants

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study shows that the leaf vein‐expressed FD complexes with the florigen FT to bind DNA motifs in FT promoter, which antagonizes CONSTANS‐mediated FT activation to feedback down‐regulate FT expression. This prevents an excessive induction of FT expression by inductive photoperiods, thereby precluding precocious transition to flowering in ...

Maximum vertex and face degree of oblique graphs

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics, 2009
Let G = ( V , E , F ) be a 3-connected simple graph imbedded into a surface S with vertex set V, edge set E and face set F. A face α is an a1, a2, ... , ak-face if α is a k-gon and the degrees of the vertices incident with α in the cyclic order are a1, a2, ... , ak. The lexicographic minimum b1, b2, ... , bk such that α is a b1, b2, ...

Strong Degrees in Single Valued Neutrosophic Graphs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
The concept of single valued neutrosophic graphs (SVNGs) generalizes the concept of fuzzy graphs and intuitionistic fuzzy graphs. The purpose of this research paper is to define different types of strong degrees in SVNGs and introduce novel concepts ...

TME/NIR Dual‐Responsive Zinc‐Based Targeted Nanoagonist for Multimodal Amplification of STING‐Mediated Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A multifunctional nanoagonist (cDZ@IP) enables nano‐metabolite–driven multimodal activation of the STING pathway and enhanced immune recognition, achieving potent antitumor immunity and suppressing tumor growth and metastasis. This strategy highlights the rational design of therapeutic metabolites and establishes a new paradigm bridging nanomedicine ...

Axial Anomaly Induced Suppression of the [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
In an effective theory containing only quark degrees of freedom, such as the extended Nambu--Jona--Lasinio model, the influence of the axial anomaly can be incorporated by a self-interaction of the 't Hooft determinant type.

Total Vertex Irregularity Strength of Trees with Maximum Degree Five [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
In 2010, Nurdin, Baskoro, Salman and Gaos conjectured that the total vertex irregularity strength of any tree T is determined only by the number of vertices of degrees 1, 2 and 3 in T. This paper will confirm this conjecture by considering all trees with

Upper bounds for vertex degrees of planar 5-chromatic graphs [PDF]

open access: yes, 1973
Upper bounds are given for the degrees of vertices in planar 5 5 -chromatic graphs. Some inequalities are derived for irreducible graphs which restrict the type of planar graphs that can be irreducible.

Functional Disorder at the Neural Interface: How Disordered Nanostructures Promote Proper Growth and Differentiation in In Vitro Neural Cultures

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work provides a practical guide for neuroengineers to design advanced neural interfaces, embracing and tailoring the concept of functional disorder. By bridging 2D and 3D in vitro models, this work highlights how non‐periodic, spatially heterogeneous, multiscale nanotopography can enable more physiologically relevant platforms for studying neural ...
