A Classification Paradigm for Distributed Vertically Partitioned Data

In many practical situations, data are recorded in different servers that are geographically apart, and each server observes features of local interest.

VERTICAL DISTRIBUTION OF MYCOSTASIS IN MALAYAN SOILS

Using the cellulose-film method the distribution of mycostasis was examined in profiles from five differing soil types in Malaya. Soils were found to be inhibitory to the spores of Mucor ramannianus Möller to a depth of 360 cm, but waterlogged soils were less inhibitory than those which were drained.

Abstract A study is made of a series of daily ozone and temperature soundings taken at Albuquerque, N. Mex., in March 1965. In the lower stratosphere, the layer structure of ozone corresponds rather well to the layer structure of the thermal stability.
