Electron density retrieval from truncated Radio Occultation GNSS data [PDF]
This paper summarizes the definition and validation of two complementary new strategies, to invert incomplete Global Navigation Satellite System Radio-Occultation (RO) ionospheric measurements, such as the ones to be provided by the future EUMETSAT Polar

This work explores Li‐substituted P2 layered oxides for Na‐ion batteries by crystallographic and electrochemical studies. The effect of lithium on superstructure orderings, on phase transitions during synthesis and electrochemical cycling and on the interplay of O‐ versus TM‐redox is revealed via various advanced techniques, including semi‐simultaneous

The Radiation Transfer at a Layer of Magnetized Plasma With Random Irregularities [PDF]
The problem of radio wave reflection from an optically thick plane monotonous layer of magnetized plasma is considered at present work. The plasma electron density irregularities are described by spatial spectrum of an arbitrary form.

This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.

Global monitoring of tropospheric water vapor with GPS radio occultation aboard CHAMP
The paper deals with application of GPS radio occultation (RO) measurements aboard CHAMP for the retrieval of tropospheric water vapor profiles. The GPS RO technique provides a powerful tool for atmospheric sounding which requires no calibration, is not ...

Integration of Low‐Voltage Nanoscale MoS2 Memristors on CMOS Microchips
This article presents the first monolithic integration of nanoscale MoS2‐based memristors into the back‐end‐of‐line of foundry‐fabricated CMOS microchips in a one‐transistor‐one‐resistor (1T1R) architecture. The MoS2‐based 1T1R cells exhibit forming‐free, nonvolatile resistive switching with ultra‐low operating voltages, low cycle‐to‐cycle variability ...
