Effect of Dyslipidaemia and Metabolic Function in Coronary Heart Disease with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus - In Tertiary Care Center

open access: yesJournal of Pharmacy and Bioallied Sciences
Introduction: T2DM is strongly associated with an increased prevalence of cardiovascular disease (CVD). It has been established that CVD is the main cause of mortality among patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) contributing to 80% of fatal ...

Extracellular LCN2 Binding to 24p3R in Astrocytes Impedes α‐Synuclein Endocytosis in Parkinson's Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
24p3R is an astrocytic receptor for α‐Syn uptake. When LCN2 is secreted from astrocytes, it binds to its receptor 24p3R in astrocytes and this binding impedes the α‐Syn PFF binding to 24p3R. This in turn inhibits 24p3R‐mediated α‐Syn PFF uptake and reduces the clearance of extracellular α‐Syn by astrocytes, which contributes to α‐Syn spread and ...

Ligilactobacillus Murinus and Lactobacillus Johnsonii Suppress Macrophage Pyroptosis in Atherosclerosis through Butyrate‐GPR109A‐GSDMD Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Oral aspirin administration induces intestinal expansion of Lactobacillus murinus and Lactobacillus johnsonii, which suppresses the progression of atherosclerosis. This microbial expansion significantly enhances butyrate production by providing lactate as a metabolic substrate, thereby fostering the growth of butyrate‐producing bacteria. Butyrate plays

Characterization of very low density lipoprotein from Watanabe heritable hyperlipidemic rabbits.

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 1989
We investigated the properties of very low density lipoprotein (VLDL) from two types of Watanabe heritable hyperlipidemic (WHHL) rabbits: one with a high incidence of coronary atherosclerosis (type 1), and the other with a low incidence (type 2).
