Hoffmann's two‐toed sloth I: Complete myology in the thoracic limb of Choloepus (Pilosa: Xenarthra)

Two‐toed sloths use their thoracic limbs for more frequent and prolonged suspensory support than three‐toed sloths and accordingly demonstrate myological traits consistent with stability of the pectoral girdle, enhanced flexor force/torque applied at the elbow joint, and grip on the support.

Anatomical description of the jaw muscles and theoretical bite force assessment in South American opossums using manual and digital dissection methods

Layer‐by‐layer soft‐tissue effects on flexion–extension‐dominant passive ex vivo limb joint ROM in quadrupedal mammals: An anatomical contribution to a morphofunctional framework

Layer‐by‐layer passive ex vivo assessment of flexion–extension‐dominant limb joint ROM across rabbit, pudu deer, chilla fox and pig revealed joint‐, tissue‐ and taxon‐specific responses to progressive tissue removal. Proximal joints often showed increasing ROM, whereas distal joints often showed non‐monotonic responses.
