Imaging VGOS observations and investigating source structure effects [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, 2020
Abstract The next‐generation, broadband geodetic very long baseline interferometry system, named VGOS, is being developed globally with an aim to achieve 1 mm accuracy for station positions. Currently, the systematic errors in VGOS broadband delays are still about 20 ps.

Kinetic Modeling of Vacuum Gas Oil Hydrotreatment using a Molecular Reconstruction Approach Modélisation cinétique de l’hydrotraitement de distillats sous vide utilisant une approche de reconstruction moléculaire

open access: yesOil & Gas Science and Technology, 2010
Vacuum Gas Oils (VGO) are heavy petroleum cuts (boiling points ranging from 350 to 550 ˚C) that can be transformed into valuable fuels (gasolines, diesels) by fluid catalytic cracking or hydrocracking.

Optimizing VGOS observations using an SNR-based scheduling approach

open access: yesEarth, Planets and Space
The geodetic and astrometric very long baseline interferometry (VLBI) community is in the process of upgrading its existing infrastructure with the VLBI Global Observing System (VGOS). The primary objective of VGOS is to substantially boost the number of

Ion Source Complementarity for Characterization of Complex Organic Mixtures Using Fourier Transform Mass Spectrometry: A Review

open access: yesMass Spectrometry Reviews, Volume 44, Issue 5, Page 808-829, September/October 2025.
ABSTRACT Complex organic mixtures are found in many areas of research, such as energy, environment, health, planetology, and cultural heritage, to name but a few. However, due to their complex chemical composition, which holds an extensive potential of information at the molecular level, their molecular characterization is challenging.

The Effect of Hydroalcoholic Extract of Salvia miltiorrhiza on Hormonal and Cellular Parameters of Spermatogenesis in Male Rats After the Consumption of Ibuprofen

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 13, Issue 8, August 2025.
SM extract could be able to counter inflammation owing to the extra consumption of popular drugs such as ibuprofen. ABSTRACT Salvia miltiorrhiza (SM), a medicinal herb known for its antioxidant and anti‐inflammatory properties, has been traditionally used to treat various physiological disorders.

Voronoi Cell Interface‐Based Parameter Sensitivity Analysis for Labeled Samples

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, Volume 44, Issue 3, June 2025.
Abstract Varying the input parameters of simulations or experiments often leads to different classes of results. Parameter sensitivity analysis in this context includes estimating the sensitivity to the individual parameters, that is, to understand which parameters contribute most to changes in output classifications and for which parameter ranges ...

VGOS CRF: Celestial Reference Frame from VGOS until Dec 2024

open access: yes
We present a celestial reference frame (CRF) from Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) Global Observing System (VGOS) including data until December 2024. The VGOS CRF is built with 1.8 million group delays observed in 193 multi-baseline 24-hour sessions (178 VGOS-OPS, 15 VGOS-R&D) with a fixed frequency distribution.

Viewpoint Optimization for 3D Graph Drawings

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, Volume 44, Issue 3, June 2025.
Abstract Graph drawings using a node‐link metaphor and straight edges are widely used to represent and understand relational data. While such drawings are typically created in 2D, 3D representations have also gained popularity. When exploring 3D drawings, finding viewpoints that help understanding the graph's structure is crucial.

Sca2Gri: Scalable Gridified Scatterplots

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, Volume 44, Issue 3, June 2025.
Abstract Scatterplots are widely used in exploratory data analysis. Representing data points as glyphs is often crucial for in‐depth investigation, but this can lead to significant overlap and visual clutter. Recent post‐processing techniques address this issue, but their computational and/or visual scalability is generally limited to thousands of ...

A Machine Learning‐Based Model Infers the Sea Surface Velocity of Surface Water and Ocean Topography (SWOT)

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 52, Issue 9, 16 May 2025.
Abstract High‐resolution sea surface velocity (SSV) is crucial for advancing our understanding of ocean sub‐mesoscale processes, energy cascades, etc. The recently launched Surface Water and Ocean Topography (SWOT) satellite measures sea surface height with a sub‐mesoscale resolved resolution.
