Metal‐ion‐coupled self‐assembled layered gels were prepared using a simple sol–gel method, successfully integrating electromagnetic shielding and thermochromic functions into the material. SCa‐1, which exhibits the best overall performance, achieves an electromagnetic shielding efficiency of up to 72.49 dB, while maintaining a visible light ...

Cold provocation tests in the evaluation of vibration-induced white finger.
Two types of cold provocation tests, a classical test with immersion of the hand in cold water and the evaluation of finger systolic blood pressure (FSBP) during local cooling, were administered to forest workers. Raynaud's phenomenon in the classical test correlated positively with the number of disabled phalanges, recovery time, and frequency of ...

A new methodology for measuring the vibration transmission from handle to finger whilst gripping [PDF]
© 2017The transmission of vibration from hand-held tools via work gloves and into the operators' hands can be affected by several factors such as glove material properties, tool vibration conditions, grip force, and temperature.

This study presents an ultrasound‐responsive nanoplatform, CS‐BT@MZ@NEs, with a BaTiO3/Mn‐Zif‐8 core and a chondroitin sulfate coating for Golgi targeting. By leveraging neutrophil hitchhiking, it enables targeted delivery to infection sites. Under ultrasound stimulation, CS‐BT@MZ@NEs generates ROS and modulates Golgi pH to activate cGAS–STING ...

Enhancing Biogenic Formic Acid Production in the Modified OxFA Process by Acetonitrile Addition
In this study, the beneficial effect of using acetonitrile as a co‐solvent in the modified OxFA process is shown, outperforming methanol, demonstrating improved reaction kinetics combined with high selectivity for the HPA‐2 (H5PV2Mo10O40) catalyzed oxidation of xylose to FA.
