Vibrational Control of a 2-Link Mechanism

Volume 2: Intelligent Transportation/Vehicles; Manufacturing; Mechatronics; Engine/After-Treatment Systems; Soft Actuators/Manipulators; Modeling/Validation; Motion/Vibration Control Applications; Multi-Agent/Networked Systems; Path Planning/Motion Control; Renewable/Smart Energy Systems; Security/Privacy of Cyber-Physical Systems; Sensors/Actuators; Tracking Control Systems; Unmanned Ground/Aerial Vehicles; Vehicle Dynamics, Estimation, Control; Vibration/Control Systems; Vibrations, 2020
Abstract This paper describes vibrational control and stability of a planar, horizontal 2-link mechanism using translational control of the base pivot. The system is a 3-DOF two-link mechanism that is subject to torsional damping, torsional stiffness, and is moving on a horizontal plane.

Vibration mechanism of a mistuned bladed-disk

Journal of Sound and Vibration, 2008
For coupling vibration of the mistuned bladed-disk in aeroengine, the vibration differential equation of the system is established using component-mode synthesis methods. Experimental mode analysis and mode correction are used to calculate some low-order modes of tuned blade and the disk with cone-flange.

Mechanical Vibration Analysis of a Gantry 3D Printer

2021 IEEE Conference of Russian Young Researchers in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (ElConRus), 2021
The accuracy and quality of 3D printing with FDM technology depends on many factors: type of material, environment, software and 3D printer mechanics. An important role is given to the mechanical design of a 3D printer, since low rigidity of the entire system increases influence of mechanical vibrations on printing accuracy and limits its capabilities.

Mechanical excitation of rodlike particles by a vibrating plate

Physical Review E, 2017
The experimental realization and investigation of granular gases usually require an initial or permanent excitation of ensembles of particles, either mechanically or electromagnetically. One typical method is the energy supply by a vibrating plate or container wall.

Active Control of Mechanical Vibrations in a Circular Disk

1989 American Control Conference, 1989
Mechanical vibration is a common phenomenon observed in the operation of many machines and arises from the inertia effect of machine parts in motion. While many control system design methods for distributed parameter systems have already been proposed in the literature, generally they are either based on truncated models and, as a result, suffer from ...

The vibration control of a flexible linkage mechanism with impact

Communications in Nonlinear Science and Numerical Simulation, 2001
Abstract An combined control methodology for suppressing elastic vibration and impact effects in clearance pairs are developed by employing active control of structural vibration and passive control concepts of clearance pairs in the structures.

Optimization of a Vibrating Screen’s Mechanical Parameters

2011
The efficiency of sizing, the energy consumption, noise and vibrational pollution is highly affected by the vibrational parameters of screens. To allow the smooth and energy efficient functioning of the screen, frequency optimization is inevitable. In this paper, the optimal vibrational parameters were determined partly by using analytical methods. The
