Cysteine‐engineered mini‐spidroins (∼33 kDa) undergo phosphate‐induced liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS), where disulfide bonds lock partially aligned polyA segments. Subsequent microfluidic spinning promotes directional β‐sheet crystallization, producing fibers with 531 MPa strength and 182 MJ/m3 toughness.

Nucleic acid vibrational circular dichroism, absorption, and linear dichroism spectra. I. A DeVoe theory approach [PDF]
Infrared (IR) vibrational circular dichroism (VCD), absorption, and linear dichroism (LD) spectra of four homopolyribonucleotides, poly(rA), poly(rG), poly(rC), and poly(rU), have been calculated, in the 1750–1550 cm-1 spectral region, using the DeVoe ...

Luminescent Chiral Molecular Glasses by Melt‐Quenching Enantiopure BINAP
Melt‐quenching of enantiopure BINAP yields transparent chiral molecular glasses that retain axial chirality and display blue‐shifted luminescence together with strongly enhanced circularly polarized emission with dissymmetry factors |glum| of ≈10−2.

Vibrational circular dichroism of adenosine crystals
Adenosine is one of the building blocks of nucleic acids and other biologically important molecules. Spectroscopic methods have been among the most utilized techniques to study adenosine and its derivatives. However, most of them deal with adenosine in solution.

Multichannel array detection of vibrational optical activity free-induction-decay
By introducing a multichannel array detector to vibrational optical activity free-induction-decay (VOA FID) measurement spectrometer, we successfully measured the vibrational circular dichroism (VCD) spectrum of (1S)-β-pinene.

This work demonstrates that efficient CPL, characterized by high PLQY, large glum, and narrow‐band emission, can be achieved simultaneously in a ligand‐modified hybrid indium chloride crystallizing in an achiral space group. ABSTRACT To achieve high contrast in three‐dimensional display, circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) materials should ...
