Abstract Affinity photolabeling is a smart method to study noncovalent and transient interactions and provide a submolecular picture of the contacts between interacting partners. In this review, we will focus on the identification of peptide partners using photoaffinity labeling coupled to mass spectrometry in different contexts such as in vitro with a

Potential of LP as a Biocontrol Agent for Vibriosis in Abalone Farming
Vibrio species are among the primary pathogenic bacteria affecting abalone aquaculture, posing significant threats to farming practices. Current clinical control predominantly relies on antibiotics, which can result in antibiotic residues in both abalone

Microbiota diversity and differences in the respiratory tract of children with pneumonia
Differences in microbial communities in the upper and lower respiratory tract in patients with pneumonia were investigated in this study by sequencing the 16S rRNA genes in pharyngeal swabs and alveolar lavage fluid. Forty‐three subjects were enrolled in the study, and one upper and one lower respiratory tract sample were collected from each subject ...

Glycoproteomics and Its Role in Understanding Bacterial O‐Linked Glycosylation
ABSTRACT Protein glycosylation is now recognized as a ubiquitous process observed in all domains of life. Within bacterial species, carbohydrates can be attached to multiple residues with glycosylation of serine, threonine, or tyrosine residues via their hydroxyl side chains referred to as O‐linked glycosylation.
