Modeling and analysis of the variability of the water cycle in the upper Rio Grande basin at high resolution [PDF]
Estimating the water budgets in a small-scale basin is a challenge, especially in the mountainous western United States, where the terrain is complex and observational data in the mountain areas are sparse.

Adult‐Onset Subacute Sclerosing Panencephalitis Presenting With Subacute Cognitive Deficits
ABSTRACT We describe the case of a 41‐year‐old man diagnosed with adult‐onset subacute sclerosing panencephalitis (SSPE). The patient presented with subacute progressive cognitive deficits and a neuropsychological profile indicating predominant frontoparietal dysfunction. MRI showed only mild parietal‐predominant cerebral atrophy.

Real‐World Performance of CSF Kappa Free Light Chains in the 2024 McDonald Criteria
ABSTRACT Objective Kappa free light chains (KFLCs) in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) have a similar performance to CSF‐restricted oligoclonal bands (OCB) for multiple sclerosis (MS) diagnosis. To help with implementation, we set out to resolve several remaining uncertainties: (1) performance in a real‐world cohort and the 2024 McDonald criteria; (2 ...

A Long-Term Hydrologically-Based Data Set of Land Surface Fluxes and States for the Conterminous United States [PDF]
A frequently encountered difficulty in assessing model-predicted land–atmosphere exchanges of moisture and energy is the absence of comprehensive observations to which model predictions can be compared at the spatial and temporal resolutions at which the

Objective The objective was to identify factors determining acute arthritis resolution and safety with colchicine and prednisone in acute calcium pyrophosphate (CPP) crystal arthritis. Methods We conducted a post hoc analysis of the COLCHICORT trial, which compared colchicine and prednisone for the treatment of acute CPP crystal arthritis, using a ...

Evaluation of summer drought ensemble prediction over the Yellow River basin
Accurately predicting drought a few months in advance is important for drought mitigation and agricultural and water resources management, especially for a river basin like that of the Yellow River in North China.

Benchmarking historical performance and future projections from a large-scale hydrologic model with a watershed hydrologic model [PDF]
Large-scale hydrologic models (LHMs) are increasingly relied upon for assessing climate-driven hydrologic changes from watershed to global scales. However, their ability to provide robust projections for a range of hydrologic variables remains unclear ...

Snowmelt Runoff in the Yarlung Zangbo River Basin and Runoff Change in the Future
Comprehending the impacts of climate change on regional hydrology and future projections of water supplies is of great value to manage the water resources in the Yarlung Zangbo River Basin (YZRB). However, large uncertainties from both input data and the
