ABSTRACT Astrocyte reactivity critically shapes neuroinflammatory outcomes after ischemic stroke, yet the upstream regulators governing astrocyte state transitions remain incompletely defined. Here, we identify the immunoproteasome subunit low molecular weight protein 2 (LMP2) as an important modulator of astrocyte functional remodeling following ...

We discuss how a probabilistic interpretation of the output provided by a cascade of boosted classifiers can be exploited for Bayesian tracking in video streams. In particular, real-time face and body detection can be achieved by relying on such a Bayesian framework.

Tracking of Objects in Video Sequences
2021The paper considers the issues of trajectory tracking of a large number of objects on video images in modes close to real time. To implement such support, a combination of algorithms based on the YOLO v3 convolutional neural network (CNN), doubly stochastic filters and pseudo-gradient procedures for aligning image fragments is proposed.

Bayesian Tracking for Video Analytics
IEEE Signal Processing Magazine, 2010Visual tracking represents the basic processing step for most video analytics applications where the aim is to automatically understand the actions occurring in a monitored scene. Consequently, the performances of these applications are significantly dependent on the accuracy and robustness of the tracking algorithm.

A new approach of tracking objects in image sequences is proposed, in which tracking is seen as a binary classification problem. For each incoming image frame, a likelihood image for the object is created according to the classification results of pixels by a Adaboost feature classifier.
