Single‐cell longitudinal profiling reveals that androgen‐deprivation therapy induces a DPT+ fibroblast‐complement axis that suppresses macrophage inflammation and drives CD8+ T cell exhaustion in prostate cancer. Concurrently, resistant epithelial subpopulations persist and engage TSPAN1‐ and NRXN1‐mediated programs promoting CRPC and neuroendocrine ...

African swine fever virus alters soil microbial biomass and biodiversity: Evidence from experimental soil systems [PDF]
Background and Aim: African swine fever virus (ASFV) has expanded beyond its traditional ecological niches, raising concerns not only for animal health but also for environmental sustainability. While extensive research has focused on its persistence and

Comparative genomics of Gondwana‐diverged Pila and Pomacea reveals parallel evolution of aerial oviposition. Convergent chromosomal rearrangements reshape regulatory landscapes within topologically associating domains. Lineage‐specific gene family expansions and viral‐derived perivitelline proteins (PV1) underpin desiccation resistance.

Engineering Microbial Particles for Next‐Generation Biomedical Platforms
Microbe‐derived particles (MDPs), which include extracellular vesicles, outer membrane vesicles, inclusion bodies, polysaccharide particles, and virus‐like particles, represent a rapidly expanding category of bioinspired nanomaterials. With their natural origin, intrinsic biocompatibility, and highly programmable functionality, MDPs serve as a ...

Record-Breaking Rain Event Altered Estuarine Viral Assemblages
Viruses are the dominant biological entity in the ocean, play a vital role in biogeochemical cycles, and provide their hosts with novel metabolic capabilities through auxiliary metabolic genes (AMGs). Hurricane Harvey was a category 4 hurricane that made

Resistant Peanut Genotype Reprograms Rhizosphere Metabolism to Enhance Bacterial Wilt Suppression
The resistant peanut genotype selectively recruits beneficial bacteria, which coincides with the activation of salicylic acid (SA)‐dependent systemic acquired resistance (SAR) against Ralstonia solanacearum. Keystone rhizosphere metabolites are positively correlated with both beneficial microbiome assembly and SAR gene expression.

An STI‐guided metagenomic association framework links soybean salt‐tolerance phenotypes with rhizosphere microbiome composition and network organization in natural saline soils. The approach identifies candidate beneficial taxa, including Thalassospira xiamenensis, and provides an efficient strategy for mining stress‐protective microbes from native ...
