Long‐distance seed dispersal by ocean currents plays a critical role in structuring coastal plant communities. As direct observations of this phenomenon are infeasible, numerical modeling is a valuable tool. Here, we use Lagrangian particle tracking to examine the colonization of the newly forming island Norderoogsand (German Bight, Wadden Sea) by five

Virtual Inertia Control of Microgrid Consisting of Low Inertia Resources
In this paper, an adaptive concept of virtual generator based controller for dynamic stability of microgrids consisting of low inertia resources. For this purpose, considering a set of energy storage systems dispatched in the network, a controlled islanding scheme is provided to dynamically control the microgrid frequency.

Unlocking the Future of Insurance: The Power of Open Data, Digital Transformation, and Human Talent
ABSTRACT Despite rapid technological advancement in insurance, there remains a critical gap in understanding how open data initiatives affect employee digital competencies and organizational transformation. This research investigates this relationship through a systematic review of 51 scholarly articles published between 2018 and 2024, using structured

ABSTRACT Subgroups are dynamic entities evolving constantly in response to changing contexts and time. Although scholars from both the attribute and the network views have acknowledged that subgroups are inherently complex and fluid, research in these traditions has remained bifurcated, with limited efforts to integrate the two perspectives to more ...

ABSTRACT Geometrically nonlinear static analysis of materially imperfect composite doubly curved shells is investigated via the generalised differential quadrature method. The effects of both shear and thickness deformation are considered through a thickness‐ and shear‐deformable third‐order theory formulated in curvilinear coordinates, while the ...
