Cu‐based catalysts as a cornerstone in advancing sustainable energy technologies are fully reviewed in this manuscript, highlighting their potential in photo‐ and electrocatalysis. It includes metallic copper, copper oxides, copper sulfides, copper halide perovskites, copper‐based metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), and covalent organic frameworks (COFs),

Visible spectrum of titanium dioxide
Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics, 2010The electronic spectrum in the region 17 500 cm(-1) to 18 850 cm(-1) of a cold molecular beam of TiO(2) has been investigated using laser induced fluorescence (LIF) and mass-resolved resonance enhanced multi-photoionization (REMPI) spectroscopy.

Visible-Spectrum Biometric Retina Recognition
2008 International Conference on Intelligent Information Hiding and Multimedia Signal Processing, 2008While retina recognition is recognized as a highly accurate and difficult to forge biometric, it has not seen widespread acceptance. In addition to user acceptance of what is at times considered an invasive technique, this limited acceptance was caused in part by the relatively high cost of signal acquisition.

Visible spectrum light-emitting transistors
Applied Physics Letters, 2006Visible radiative recombination in the base layer of AlGaInP∕InGaP light-emitting transistors (LETs) is reported. For this form of transistor, which previously has not existed, and with an emitter area of 100×100μm2, we demonstrate a current gain β (β≡ΔIC∕ΔIB) of 3.5 for the device operating in the common-emitter configuration.

The visible spectrum of fulvene
Chemical Physics, 1974Abstract Vapour phase and mixed crystal of the visible band system of fulvene are reported. The spectra show several interesting features including a main progression of 660 cm −1 corresponding to the out-of-plane methylene twisting vibration. Strong Herzberg—Teller origins together with the breadth and overall diffuseness indicate two electronic ...

The visible spectrum of jet-cooled CF3NO
Chemical Physics Letters, 1987Abstract The electronic origin of the A A″ ← X A′ transition of trifluoronitrosomethane (CF3NO) has been reassigned to the very weak feature near 717.9 nm in the fluorescence excitation spectrum of the jet-cooled molecule. The prominent torsional progression has been reinpreted and the height of the threefold torsional barier in the A( n,π* ) state ...

The visible emission spectrum of iodine
Journal of Molecular Spectroscopy, 1973Abstract The emission spectrum of iodine has been photographed in the visible region at high resolution, and 16 bands of the B[0 + u( 3 Π )] → X[0 + g( 1 Σ )] system have been rotationall analyzed. Centrifugal distortion constants for the B state are calculated from the empirical (RKR) potential curve using a method ...
