We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

A comparative study on visual evoked potential in normotensive and hypertensive individuals
Background: Hypertensive retinopathy is one of the most common complications of hypertension. Hypertension can cause changes in vascular endothelium including hyalinization, which can lead to demyelination of the optic nerve and results in conduction ...

Influence of Rotating Shift Work on Visual Reaction Time and Visual Evoked Potential [PDF]
Background: The present day life style is changing the circadian rhythm of the body especially in rotating night shift workers. The impact of this prolongs their reaction time.

Event-related alpha suppression in response to facial motion [PDF]
This article has been made available through the Brunel Open Access Publishing Fund. While biological motion refers to both face and body movements, little is known about the visual perception of facial motion. We therefore examined alpha wave suppression

PARP inhibitors induce a senescence phenotype in non‐small cell lung carcinoma cell lines
Talazoparib is the most potent inducer of senescence among different PARP1 inhibitors in human NSCLC cells. In the absence of PARP, no senescence phenotype was observed, demonstrating that PARP1 is necessary for the induction of senescence by this inhibitor.

Age-related differences in the transient and steady state responses to different visual stimuli
ObjectiveBrain-computer interface (BCI) has great potential in geriatric applications. However, most BCI studies in the literature used data from young population, and dedicated studies investigating the feasibility of BCIs among senior population are ...

Guiding AlphaFold to predict how Munc13‐1 opens Syntaxin‐1
The syntaxin‐1 Habc‐domain (orange), linker (pink) and SNARE motif (yellow) form a closed conformation that binds to Munc18‐1 (violet) and is opened by the Munc13‐1 MUN domain (cyan) to form the SNARE complex that triggers neurotransmitter release.

Stimulus Design for Visual Evoked Potential Based Brain-Computer Interfaces
Visual stimuli design plays an important role in brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) based on visual evoked potentials (VEPs). Variations in stimulus parameters have been shown to affect both decoding accuracy and subjective perception experience, implying ...
