Our initial research based on a combination of personal interests such as holographic art [Cole and Hayward 1995], 3D computer graphics and visual illusions led us to a theoretical study on a cross-platform application designed to quickly produce 3D raw meshes from 2D bitmap interference rings mainly for personal usage.

Interpretation of Visual Aurora

In this chapter we shall look more thoroughly into various problems mentioned in the preceding chapters. We shall first consider problems related to the morphology and dynamics of the aurora. Next we shall discuss the luminosity curves of the aurora and what conclusions can be drawn about the angular and energy distribution of the electrons.
