A Novel (t, s, k, n)-Threshold Visual Secret Sharing Scheme Based on Access Structure Partition
ACM Trans. Multim. Comput. Commun. Appl., 2020Visual secret sharing (VSS) is a new technique for sharing a binary image into multiple shadows. For VSS, the original image can be reconstructed from the shadows in any qualified set, but cannot be reconstructed from those in any forbidden set.

Enhance the visual quality of shares and recovered secret on meaningful shares visual secret sharing
Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Uniquitous Information Management and Communication, 2010Visual secret sharing (VSS) schemes have been proposed by Naor and Shamir [1] in 1995. It encodes a binary secret image into several meaningless images called shares or transparencies. The secret image can be obtained by stacking the qualified set of shares without any complex computation.

Sharing visual multi-secrets using circle shares
Computer Standards & Interfaces, 2005Traditional visual cryptography technique has provided sufficient security to fulfill the purpose of protecting confidential messages. In current technology, the same set of shares can be embedded with many sets of secret messages after one of the shares is rotated at different degrees.

An Approach for Secret Sharing Using Randomised Visual Secret Sharing
2014 Fourth International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies, 2014Visual secret sharing is the technique that divide the secret image into n multiple shares. Each share constitutes some information and when k shares out of n stack together the secret will reveal. However, less than k shares are not work. Sharing is the idea from secret sharing scheme that was presented in 1975 by Adi Shamir.

Multi-Threshold Visual Secret Sharing
International Journal on Advances in Information Sciences and Service Sciences, 2012Visual cryptography (VC) has been developed extensively based on its practicability. These schemes can encode a black-and-white secret image into several shadow images, and, by stacking a certain number of shadow images, can retrieve the secret image through the human visual system.

BEMSS- Blockwise Encryption based Multi Secret Sharing scheme for Securing Visual Content
IEEE Uttar Pradesh Section International Conference on Electrical, Computer and Electronics Engineering, 2022In recent years, the significant research area in the domain of multimedia security is image information security. This can be provided by converting it into a secret code through the process of encryption or hiding its true significance or a combination

Cheating Immune Threshold Visual Secret Sharing
The Computer Journal, 2009In this paper we consider the problem of cheating for visual cryptography schemes. Although the problem of cheating has been extensively studied for secret sharing schemes, little work has been done for visual secret sharing. We provide the first formal definition of cheating and new (2,n)-threshold and (n,n)-threshold visual cryptography schemes ...

Visual Cryptography and Secret Image Sharing
2017With rapid progress in Internet and digital imaging technology, there are more and more ways to easily create, publish, and distribute images. Considered the first book to focus on the relationship between digital imaging and privacy protection, Visual Cryptography and Secret Image Sharing is a complete introduction to novel security methods and ...

GPGPU-based randomized visual secret sharing (GRVSS) for grayscale and colour images
International Journal of Computer Applications, 2020Visual Secret Sharing (VSS) is a technique used for sharing secret images between users. The existing VSS schemes reconstruct the original secret image as a halftone image with only a 50% contrast.
