MXene/PEDOT Functional Coatings on Flexible Microelectrode Arrays for Multianalyte In Vivo Neurochemical Sensing and Electrophysiology

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A MXene/PEDOT coating enables multimodal functionality and dual‐analyte detection of dopamine and serotonin in flexible microelectrode arrays while enhancing electrophysiological recording quality. The anti‐fouling, low‐impedance interface overcomes key limitations of conventional coatings, providing a robust and versatile platform to investigate the ...

Complementary Visual Tracking

2011 18th IEEE International Conference on Image Processing, 2011
In this paper, we propose a tracking algorithm which combines two complementary trackers together to supervise each other in dealing with different tracking problems. We design a region tracker based on high-level structure information (incremental PCA), and an object tracker based on mid-level visual cues, and adopt multi-state particle filter to ...

Attentive Visual Tracking

Procedings of the British Machine Vision Conference 1993, 1993
The research reported here addresses the problem of detecting and tracking independently moving objects from a moving observer in real time, using corners as object tokens. Local image-plane constraints are employed to solve the correspondence problem.

Visual Tracking at Sea

Proceedings of the 2005 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation, 2006
We describe progress in the design, build and test of a mechatronic system capable of visually tracking objects at sea from a moving platform, such as a boat. The mechanism comprises three controllable degrees of freedom that can carry a small camera as payload.

Visual node prediction for visual tracking

Multimedia Systems, 2019
A novel visual tracking algorithm based on visual node (VN) prediction is proposed in this paper. First, we count the distribution area and gray levels of the larger probability density in the VN. Then, all the frequencies of the VN are calculated, of which the weaker frequency gradient is removed by filtration.

On the visual mathematics of tracking

Image and Vision Computing, 1991
Abstract A mathematical theory for visual tracking of a three-dimensional target of known local shape moving rigidly in 3D is presented here, and it is shown how a monocular observer can track an initially foveated object and keep it stationary in the centre of the visual field assuming that the target is always visible during the tracking phase. Our

Active matching for visual tracking

Robotics and Autonomous Systems, 2009
In the feature matching tasks which form an integral part of visual tracking or SLAM (Simultaneous Localisation And Mapping), there are invariably priors available on the absolute and/or relative image locations of features of interest. Usually, these priors are used post-hoc in the process of resolving feature matches and obtaining final scene ...

Special track on Multimedia and Visualization track

Proceedings of the 2008 ACM symposium on Applied computing, 2008
The MultiMedia and Visualization (MMV) track has been a popular track because of its appeal for the current trends in daily life applications. Visualization is the key to comprehending the continuously changing complex phenomena around us. Multimedia combines information from local and remote sources.

Visual head tracking and slaving for visual telepresence

Proceedings of IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation, 2002
This paper describes a system for visual telepresence that slaves the motion of an electromechanical stereo head/eye platform to that of an operator's head. Features on the operator's head are detected using an external static camera and tracked over time, using three or more features to find pose (orientation and translation) with a novel algorithm ...
