The relationships between vitamin K and cognition: a review of current evidence [PDF]
Vitamin K is a fat-soluble nutrient discovered in 1935 and its role in blood coagulation has been thoroughly explored. In recent years, studies conducted in vitro and on animals highlighted vitamin K involvement in brain cells development and survival ...

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Potentiation of thrombus instability: a contributory mechanism to the effectiveness of antithrombotic medications [PDF]
© The Author(s) 2018The stability of an arterial thrombus, determined by its structure and ability to resist endogenous fibrinolysis, is a major determinant of the extent of infarction that results from coronary or cerebrovascular thrombosis.

Comparison of efficacy and safety of long-term warfarin therapy in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation [PDF]
Introduction: Anticoagulation with vitamin K antagonist (VKA) has been an enduring gold standard for stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation (AF). But the potential for serious bleeding complications of the drug remains a problem for the safe use of ...
