Application of Hidden Markov Model in Malicious Domain Name Detection [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji gongcheng, 2019
A malicious domain name detection method based on Hidden Markov Model(HMM) is proposed. The characteristics of good and evil domain name in DNS communication are analyzed, and the attribute characteristics are counted by using the efficient computing power

A hidden Markov model and reinforcement learning‐based strategy for fault‐tolerant control

open access: yesThe Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, Volume 104, Issue 8, Page 4322-4336, August 2026.
Abstract This study introduces a data‐driven control strategy integrating hidden Markov models (HMM) and reinforcement learning (RL) to achieve resilient, fault‐tolerant operation against persistent disturbances in nonlinear chemical processes. Called hidden Markov model and reinforcement learning (HMMRL), this strategy is evaluated in two case studies

Understanding Sex‐Specific Behavioral States of Bobcats in Response to Highway Proximity in South Texas

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Roads are a major source of landscape fragmentation that can influence movement patterns, survival, and behavioral states of carnivore species. Understanding their behavior and response to roads is crucial for developing effective mitigation strategies such as wildlife crossing structures, exclusion fencing, and habitat connectivity planning ...

Named Entity Recognition Model Based on k-best Viterbi Decoupling Knowledge Distillation [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji kexue yu tansuo
Knowledge distillation is a general approach to improve the performance of the named entity recognition (NER) models. However, the classical knowledge distillation loss functions are coupled, which leads to poor logit distillation.

Speech Preprocessing Method Based on Transmission Wave and Fluid Theory

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 8, August 2026.
With the continuous development of social economy, voice audio has become one of the important ways of streaming media, and is widely used in many fields. However, it is very important for how to process speech. In view of this requirement and limitation, this paper introduces transmission wave and fluid theory, tries to comb the corresponding noise ...

Behavioral responses of black bears to human presence and infrastructure in Yosemite National Park

open access: yesThe Journal of Wildlife Management, Volume 90, Issue 6, August 2026.
Using GPS collar data from black bears in Yosemite National Park, we examined how bear spatiotemporal activity in relation to human development shifted during the COVID‐19 park closure in 2020. In the absence of visitors, bears maintained consistent landscape‐scale space use but altered fine‐scale spatial and temporal behaviors.

Dynamic Mode Decomposition (DMD) for Low‐Latency Real‐Time Cardiac MRI

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 96, Issue 2, Page 623-634, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Purpose To demonstrate dynamic mode decomposition (DMD) for high spatiotemporal low‐latency online reconstruction in 2D real‐time cardiac MRI. Methods DMD was applied to 2D spiral balanced steady state free precession (bSSFP) real‐time adult and fetal cardiac MRI at 0.55 T, with data from 10 healthy adult volunteers (3F/7M; age: 21–49; BMI: 20–

Divergence coding for convolutional codes

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2017
In the paper we propose a new coding/decoding on the divergence principle. A new divergent multithreshold decoder (MTD) for convolutional self-orthogonal codes contains two threshold elements.
