Abstract The genus Citrus is characterized by a reticulate evolutionary history with frequent hybridization, making it an intriguing subject for genome evolution investigation. Citrus changshan‐huyou Y. B. Chang (Huyou) is a unique landrace first discovered in Zhejiang Province, China, with premium fruit quality.

Abstract At slow‐spreading mid‐ocean ridges large scale detachment faults partly accommodate the spreading process. The mafic and ultramafic rocks at the ridges are infiltrated by water and change their mineralogy. Subsequently or contemporaneously to these reactions, detachment faulting takes place.

Abstract The microtopography of the Arctic tundra and the associated soil moisture (SM) gradient influence the net ecosystem‐atmosphere exchange of methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2). To quantify fine‐scale variability in a permafrost ecosystem, we measured growing‐season carbon fluxes with closed chambers at Trail Valley Creek, Canada from 2022 to

Soil Physical Properties in Estimating the CO2 Emissions in Drained Peatland Forests
Abstract Peatland drainage aims at enhancing tree growth by improving soil aeration and nutrient availability through the lowering of water table, but it also accelerates peat decomposition and increases CO2 emissions. CO2 emission estimates of drained peatlands are typically based on surface‐level measurements, whereas studies on peat decomposition ...

ABSTRACT Aim Quaternary climatic oscillations have profoundly shaped the genetic structure and geographic distributions of alpine biotas. Understanding how cold‐adapted taxa responded to past climatic shifts is essential for unravelling the processes shaping mountain biodiversity, yet cold‐adapted taxa may have followed divergent refugial histories. We
