On $\mathbb R^N$ equipped with a root system $R$, multiplicity function $k \geq 0$, and the associated measure $dw(\mathbf{x})=\prod_{α\in R}|\langle \mathbf{x},α\rangle|^{k(α)}\,d\mathbf{x}$, we consider a (non-radial) kernel ${K}(\mathbf{x})$ which has properties similar to those from the classical theory of singular integrals and the Dunkl ...

ON CHARACTERIZATIONS OF $VMO$$_{¥Delta_{N}}$($¥mathbb{R}$$^{n}$)SPACE (Theory of function spaces and related topics) [PDF]
In this note, we shall give a resume of a joint work with Mingming Cao [5]. We state several different characterizations of the vanishing mean oscillation space associated with Neumann Laplacian Δ[N], written VMOΔ[N](ℝ[N]).

On diffusion processes with $$B({\mathbb {R}}^{2}, VMO)$$ coefficients and “good” Green’s functions of the corresponding operators [PDF]
The solvability in Sobolev spaces with special mixed norms is proved for nondivergence form second order parabolic equations. The leading coefficients are assumed to be measurable in the time variable and two coordinates of space variables, and be almost in VMO (vanishing mean oscillation) with respect to the other coordinates.

Approaching Sixfold Chemical Bonding: Metal Dimers MM' Involving Group 4-8 Transition Metals and the Actinides Th-Np. Additive Covalent Radii $r_6$. [PDF]
Twelve‐valence‐electron transition metal dimers MM', like diatomic Mo2, can have nearly sixfold bonds. Values of r6$r_6$ for over 20 elements from Sc to Pu are proposed. ABSTRACT A set of additive covalent radii is fitted to a combination of experimental data, accurate ab initio computations, and more approximate DFT MM' bond lengths, R$R$, with 12 ...

The area integral and its density for BMO and VMO functions
Let \(f\in L_ 1(\mathbb{R}^ \nu)\) and let \(u\) be its harmonic extension to \(\mathbb{R}^{\nu+1}_ +\). The conic area integral of \(f\) at \(\theta\in\mathbb{R}^ \nu\) is defined by \[ A_ a^ 2(\theta)= \int_{\Gamma_ a(\theta)} y^{1-\nu}|\nabla u(x,y)|^ 2 dx dy, \] where \(\Gamma_ a(\theta)\) is the cone with vertex at \(\theta\) and aperture \(a ...

A new function space and applications
International audienceWe define a new function space $B$, which contains in particular BMO, BV and $W^{1/p,p}$, $p\in (1,\infty)$. We investigate its embedding into Lebesgue and Marcinkiewicz spaces.

W2,p a priori estimates for nonvariational operators: the sharp maximal function technique
We consider a nonvariational degenerate elliptic operator, structured on a system of left invariant, 1-homogeneous, Hörmander vector fields on a Carnot group, where the coefficient matrix is symmetric, uniformly positive on a bounded domain and the ...
