The Role of Benzonitrile Chlorination Explored by Dissociative Electron Attachment
Experimental and theoretical dissociative electron attachment study of 2‐ and 4‐chlorobenzonitrile. The dissociative electron attachment process to ortho‐ and para‐chlorobenzonitrile was investigated in the 0–12 eV energy range with a crossed‐beam time‐of‐flight mass spectrometer, supported by quantum chemical scattering calculations.

Abstract BACKGROUND Botanical extracts are widely consumed for their claimed health benefits, yet their safety profile with respect to chronic consumption remains poorly characterized. Understanding the potential health risks associated with their inorganic content is a crucial issue for ensuring safe use, along with a characterization of the ...

Weak BMO and Toeplitz operators on Bergman spaces [PDF]
Inspired by our previous work on the boundedness of Toeplitz operators, we introduce weak BMO and VMO type conditions, denoted by BWMO and VWMO, respectively, for functions on the open unit disc of the complex plane. We show that the average function of

Angiopoietin-like protein 3, an emerging cardiometabolic therapy target with systemic and cell-autonomous functions [PDF]
Angiopoietin like protein 3 (ANGPTL3) is best known for its function as an inhibitor of lipoprotein and endothelial lipases. Due to the capacity of genetic or pharmacologic ANGPTL3 suppression to markedly reduce circulating lipoproteins, and the ...

Abstract Purpose This study aimed to (1) assess changes in subchondral bone density distribution across patellofemoral (PF) joint before and after medial closing wedge‐distal femoral varus osteotomy (MCW‐DFVO) and (2) determine correlation between PF alignment and changes in bone density distribution.

Onset of electromyographic activity of patellar stabilizers during gait in subjects with and without patellofemoral pain syndrome [PDF]

Abstract Double‐bundle medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction with artificial ligaments is a minimally invasive surgical option for recurrent patellar dislocation. However, it carries a risk of over‐tensioning, which may lead to restricted patellar mobility and anterior knee pain.

ABSTRACT Background/Objective Growing evidence highlights the role of physiological lipids, namely ceramides, cholesterol, and free fatty acids, in maintaining skin barrier function and preventing atopic dermatitis (AD). Current evidence on the efficacy, safety, and clinical relevance of stratum corneum (SC) lipid‐based therapies to prevent AD and ...
