Leveraging Change: Perceived Relevance and Organisational Support for Agents of Change for Sustainable Land Management in Agriculture in Aotearoa New Zealand

open access: yesKōtuitui: New Zealand Journal of Social Sciences Online, Volume 21, Issue 1, March 2026.
This study examines the role of agents of change (AoCs) in promoting environmentally sustainable land management in Aotearoa New Zealand's (AoNZ's) agricultural system. Survey responses from 196 individuals across five organisational types highlighted significant sustainability challenges in nine agricultural sectors.

Conjoined Parasitic Twins (Cephalo‐Thoracopagus Parasiticus) in a Free Ranging Northern Bat (Eptesicus nilssonii): A Micro‐CT Anatomic and Genetic Survey

open access: yesAnatomia, Histologia, Embryologia, Volume 55, Issue 2, March 2026.
ABSTRACT The detailed anatomical situation of male stillborn cephalo‐thoracopagus twins in a wild ranging northern bat (Eptesicus nilssonii) is described by means of full body micro‐CT scans in high resolution with three‐dimensional computational reconstruction.

Pharmacokinetics and Safety of a Single Subcutaneous or Intramuscular Dose of Ketamine in Healthy Horses

open access: yesJournal of Veterinary Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Volume 49, Issue 2, Page 141-149, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Pharmacokinetics (PK) of intramuscular (IM) and subcutaneous (SC) ketamine in horses has not been described. This study aimed to evaluate the PK and safety of ketamine and its metabolites after a single SC or IM administration. In Phase 1, two horses received 0.5 or 1 mg/kg of ketamine via SC and IM routes.

Protection Strategies for Dynamic VNF Placement and Service Chaining

open access: yes2021 International Conference on Computer Communications and Networks (ICCCN), 2021
Network Function Virtualization (NFV) provides a major shift in the provisioning of telecommunication services by decoupling network functions from dedicated hardware devices. Such decoupling enables operational expenditure (OpEx) and capital expenditure (CapEx) reduction and allows to increase service agility.

Enterobacter Species: Opportunistic Human and Plant Pathogens With Plant‐Beneficial Traits

open access: yesMolecular Plant Pathology, Volume 27, Issue 3, March 2026.
The pathogen profile on Enterobacter species synthesises current knowledge on host range, disease symptoms, plant‐beneficial traits and compares genomic features within the genus. ABSTRACT Enterobacter species occur across diverse habitats and are best known for causing opportunistic and nosocomial infections in humans.

Optimizing Placement and Scheduling for VNF by a Multi-objective Optimization Genetic Algorithm

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems
Virtual network functions (VNFs) have gradually replaced the implementation of traditional network functions. Through efficient placement, the VNF placement technology strives to operate VNFs consistently to the greatest extent possible within restricted
