5D Flow MRI Reveals Respiration‐Driven Changes in Blood Flow Energetics in Congenital Heart Disease

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 96, Issue 3, Page 1342-1354, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Purpose Hemodynamic monitoring is essential for patients with right‐sided congenital heart disease (CHD). Respiration may have an increased impact on pulmonary flow in these patients that cannot be assessed by standard tools including 4D flow MRI. This study uses 5D flow MRI to assess respiratory‐cycle variations in flow energetics in patients

Identical Platform, Divergent Publics: Sweden and Finland During the 2022 NATO Crisis

open access: yesPolicy &Internet, Volume 18, Issue 3, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Digital platforms are often theorized as universal drivers of political polarization, yet empirical patterns remain inconsistent across countries. Leveraging the natural‐experiment logic of Sweden's and Finland's simultaneous 2022 NATO applications and the NATO–Turkey diplomatic crisis, this study examines how national political cultures ...

Voces de alumnos y docentes: narrativas como espacios contrapúblicos en la carrera del Profesorado de Inglés / Voices of students and teachers: narratives as counter-public spheres in the E nglish teacher training courses

open access: yesPraxis Educativa, 2014
Tradicionalmente, la formación de docentes de inglés como lengua extranjera ha estado arraigada en un paradigma positivista. Este paradigma está en proceso de cambio a raíz de un giro epistemológico que tiene como propósito construir respuestas locales ...

Graph identification of proteins in tomograms (GRIP‐Tomo) 2.0: Topologically aware classification for proteins

open access: yesProtein Science, Volume 35, Issue 9, September 2026.
Abstract Cryo‐electron tomography (cryo‐ET) enables structural characterization of biomolecules under near‐native conditions. Existing approaches for interpreting the resulting three‐dimensional volumes are computationally expensive and have difficulty interpreting density associated with small proteins/complexes.

‘They are not predators: They are a higher power’—Relational values and principles framing human–predator relationship in Noongar Country, Southwestern Australia

open access: yesPeople and Nature, Volume 8, Issue 8, Page 2682-2699, August 2026.
Abstract Human–predator coexistence presents urgent conservation challenges that demand approaches extending beyond mere conflict mitigation. Indigenous knowledge systems, though historically marginalised by Western science, offer vital insights into ethical, sustainable relationships with nature.

Metal‐Organic Framework‐Templated Synthesis of 2D Co3S4@Co‐BPDC Nanosheets for High‐Performance Electrochemical Energy Storage

open access: yesSmall Methods, Volume 10, Issue 15, 7 August 2026.
A coin‐type asymmetric supercapacitor (ASC) device was fabricated with 2D Co3S4@Co‐BPDC nanosheets, which displayed a maximum energy density of 110.4 Wh·kg−1 at a power density of 1699.9 W·kg−1, retaining 92.1% capacitance after 10 000 cycles. Furthermore, the flexible ASC device was also prepared and delivered a 45.1 Wh·kg−1 energy density at 1500.3 W·

Synergistic Engineering of Nanostructures via Anodic Aluminum Oxide Templates and Atomic Layer Deposition: Design Principles, Mechanisms, and Applications

open access: yesSmall Structures, Volume 7, Issue 8, August 2026.
Anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) templates combined with atomic layer deposition (ALD) constitute a synergistic platform for engineering functional nanostructures within highly ordered, high‐aspect‐ratio porous architectures. By linking precursor transport modeling, surface chemistry control, and tailored ALD strategies, this review establishes a unified ...
