ASSESSMENT OF MIX PROPORTIONS FOR DEVELOPING LIGHTWEIGHT CEMENTITIOUS COMPOSITES WITH WOOD WASTES
The main objective of this work was to assess mix proportions for developing lightweight cementitious composites, manufactured with Eucalyptus grandis sawdust. Different wood:cement, water:cement and admixture:cement ratios were used to evaluate physical

Tensile and Water Absorption Properties of FRP Composite Laminates without Voids and with Voids
Abstract This project work is done to know the effect of voids in the FRP composites. The FRP composites are fabricated with hand molding process. First few samples are fabricated with the normal procedure. The sample size is as per ASTM D 638. These samples were assumed to be free of voids.

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

Characterization of various kinds of paper as reinforcement for biodegradable polymer composites; pp. 40–44 [PDF]
Some structural characteristics and properties of a diverse paper selection were studied with the aim to create biodegradable polymer composites for packaging materials. Paper in such composites would serve as a reinforcement and biodegradable polymer as

CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.
