Abstract Hadrosaurid dinosaurs are generally regarded as “crested” or “non‐crested” depending on the presence or absence of a bony cranial crest. At least one supposedly “non‐crested” hadrosaur is known to have possessed a soft tissue cranial crest (or comb), based on an exceptionally preserved “mummified” specimen. Gonadal development in scorpion mud‐turtles, Kinosternon scorpioides, in a controlled environment
Stage 20 was identified as the critical point for gonadal differentiation in Kinosternon scorpioides, providing key insights into sex determination. These findings enhance conservation strategies by supporting reproductive management and population viability in both in situ and ex situ programs. Abstract Research on gonadal development including sexual

Understanding the spacing of placodes in the eye: A comparative study across age and species
Abstract The conjunctival placodes of the avian eye form in an intriguing and conserved sequence in a circular annulus around the cornea. These 13–16 placodes develop into papillae that are essential for inducing underlying intramembranous flat bones, known as scleral ossicles, which form an important part of the ocular skeleton.
