A dynamic volt-ampere characteristic meter

Instruments and Experimental Techniques, 2009
A meter is intended to synchronously record instantaneous values of the current flowing through the studied sample under investigation and voltage drop across it when the law of variation in the current is specified by program. The sampling rate is below 120 kHz, and the current amplitude is below 10 A.

Volt–ampere characteristics of spin half-metallic transistor

Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 2003
Abstract A new construction of the spin transistor is proposed and its volt–ampere characteristics (VAC) are theoretically investigated. It is based on the ferromagnetic half-metals and is referred to as a spin half-metallic transistor (SHMT). SHMT is revealed to amplify electric current as a bipolar transistor.

Volt-ampere characteristics of a plane-parallel ionization chamber

Measurement Techniques, 1963
In the study of ionization chambers filled with highpressure gases, the recombination of ions may be neglected if the study is carried out at ionization levels close to the cosmic-ray background. For engineering reasons, it is desirable to determine the volt--ampere characteristics of the chambers within a wide ionization density range.

Generalized static volt-ampere characteristics of thermoresistors

Journal of Engineering Physics, 1977
Similarity criteria are obtained for static volt-ampere characteristics of thermoresistors and for thermoresistors included in a circuit. A technique is described for a simplified graphic-analytical design of a circuit with a thermoresistor and rules are given for modeling thermoresistors where the dissipation coefficient varies.

Volt-ampere characteristic of NbTi-wire with inhomogeneous filaments

Superconductor Science and Technology, 1992
The nature of the current voltage characteristic of NbTi-wires with inhomogeneous filaments was investigated on the wires with finite length filaments and filaments partially damaged by intermetallic particles created on the filament-matrix boundary.

Electrogradient EMF and volt-ampere characteristics of inhomogeneous systems

Soviet Physics Journal, 1978
This paper studies the manifestation of electrogradient effects in the shape of the voltampere characteristics (VAC) of inhomogeneous conducting sandwich structures of the SSS and MSM types (S stands for n-type semiconductor, and M for metal) during the passage of a current perpendicular to the interfaces between the materials.

Equation for terminal volt-ampere characteristics of MOS-controlled thyristors

Conference Record of the 1992 IEEE Industry Applications Society Annual Meeting, 2003
An equation for the i/sub K/- nu /sub AK/ static characteristic of an MOS-controlled thyristor (MCT) is derived using a four-transistor equivalent model of the device. The equation is similar to that for forward-biased diodes. The equivalent saturation current of the MCT is a function of both the saturation currents and the forward and reverse current ...

High-precision measuring device of volt-ampere characteristics

Radioengineering
Formulation of the problem. In this paper, the application of the Hall sensor in measuring technology is considered. The hall sensor is used as a measuring element of the volt-ampere characteristics of electrical circuits based on the principle of measuring the electromagnetic field in the area of the conductive pattern on the board in the range of 0 ...

On The Volt-Ampere Characteristics of Molecular Monoelectronic Elements

1989
The development of monoelectronic circuitry1,2 suggests that molecular materials could replace traditional materials and production means. That should allow circuit elements as small as a molecule (10 A) to be made.
