Voltage-controlled oscillator in the coil
Proceedings of the IEEE 2005 Custom Integrated Circuits Conference, 2005., 2006In this paper we have examined the effect of devices inside an inductor through simulations and measurements. A voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) was constructed inside an inductor using layout techniques that minimize eddy current loss and magnetic coupling.

A voltage-controlled duty-cycle oscillator
IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 1990A voltage-controlled duty-cycle oscillator (VCDCO) developed for use with integrated silicon sensors is described. The circuit's transfer function is, to first order, completely independent of component values. Measured results indicate that the circuit is capable of resolving input voltage changes as small as 6 mu V in a 2000- mu s period and has a ...

A Novel Design of A voltage controlled Oscillator
Proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Computing and Wireless Communication Systems, 2017This paper presents a new design of voltage controlled oscillator by using distributed resonator and micro strip circuit elements, fully integrated and operating at the frequency of 2.4 GHz for use in radio frequency instrumentation, measurement equipment, communication system and in many consumer products.

Review of Scientific Instruments, 2001
A setup to be added onto a classical voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) is proposed. It transforms this classical VCO into a voltage controlled quadrature sinusoidal oscillator, which gives two sinusoidal signals simultaneously, vs=Vm sin ωt and vc=Vm cos ωt, with the same amplitude Vm whatever the frequency value.

A voltage‐controlled resistor for a linear voltage‐controlled oscillator
Electronics and Communications in Japan (Part II: Electronics), 1996AbstractTo realize a linear voltage‐controlled oscillator (VCO), a voltage‐controlled resistor (VCR) whose reciprocal resistance is linear with respect to the control voltage Vcwas fabricated and tested. The VCR was composed of an analog multiplier (AM) and an operational amplifier (OA). The. static effective resistanceReof the VCR varied asR−1e=R−1(1 +

A fast CMOS voltage-controlled ring oscillator
Proceedings of IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems - ISCAS '94, 2002A voltage-controlled ring oscillator based on variable capacitive loading is described. A prototype, fabricated in a 1.2 /spl mu/m CMOS-technology, has been tested. The results showed that it is capable to operate at a maximum frequency of 560 MHz. This design operates at 92% of the speed achievable by the same ring oscillator, but where the speed ...

Voltage controlled crystal oscillator
2009 IEEE Sarnoff Symposium, 2009The novel approach reported in this paper optimizes the dynamic noise and drive sensitivity factor for achieving low phase noise voltage controlled crystal oscillator circuit (VCXO). An example of 100 MHz mode feedbacks and differential coupled VCXOs are demonstrated for the validation of this new approach, which offers 10–15 dB phase noise reduction ...

On the realization of a voltage controlled oscillator
International Journal of Electronics, 1984Abstract A new voltage-controlled second-order active-RC oscillator using three grounded capacitors, six resistors, and one second generation current conveyor as an active circuit building block is proposed. The circuit is attractive from the point of view of integrated circuit implementation.

Linear voltage controlled oscillator
IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 1988A description is given of a sinusoidal oscillator having a frequency of oscillation that can be controlled by a controlling voltage. The circuit gives ultralow distortion and stable output by virtue of an automatic gain control (AGC) loop. The oscillator is useful for the VLF (3-30 kHz) and LF (30 kHz-300 kHz) ranges of operation.

SQUID voltage-controlled-oscillator
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1983We have investigated the SQUID as a voltage-controlled source of microwaves. The low impedance "resistive" SQUID can be a relatively high power ( \sim n W), tunable, and monochromatic source for both on-chip and off-chip applications. Studies of the time-dependent junction phase and the available power spectra as they vary with such device parameters ...
